Mark, you often give me flack for attacking your weight, even though I never do. Perhaps you should hold yourself to the same standard you ask of others.
When you have some parts like forearms and upper arm centers that are like 20x density weight gets easily misinterpreted. Try using density to justify the mass.
I messed up my stomach real bad with some belly dance moves but I think it will be o.k.
Anyways I still can’t get my arms annd shoulders properly under a barbell to do a squat. I wish my gym had a safety squat bar or a curved bar but I gave up trying on the exercise. I just squat holding the weight like a deadlift. I was surprised after doing a ton of back stuff I was able to do some squats and deadlifts with 2 plates again with suprisingly good form. I didnt want to push anything but I did a few 2-3 rep sets to test for pulled forearms muscles, hernias m knee problems or glute problems.
I had a forearm issue on one forearm like the muscle had to be stretched and attached to it which was painful but done. Then I had an issue like all the wieght was being suspended by sinews in the rectum and perineum, but that seems corrected. Other times it felt like a very bad hernia as I often tend to bust my gut up and heal it, but that was not a stopper this time. last time I backed off was due to extreme glute (buttocks) pressure. It felt like some kind of wings with claws were going to fly off.
But it took courage. It felt like a ton of fast food wrappers were compressed against my stomach and just unfolded and fell off, feeling like it was part of me but wasn’t really part of me. I can see the plates going up easy now 135, 225, 315, 405, 495 etc. I think I finally got back on the “level”, Still feels way heavier than I remembered those weights. Always feels like I’m lifting a car even if it is just 100 pounds.

These are my boxing gloves. I have had these for about 2 years and can say they are a decent glove. Just a few dollars under a c note before taxes if I remember correctly. These are 16 ounces and designed primarily for bag work. Boxers normally fight with 8-10. I do not have room in these to use any form of wraps. I could use wraps especially for wrist support.
Some people smirk when they see 16’s thinking how much speed advantage they have. The they realize I can actually hit much faster than they can with these. I actually would buy a 50 ounce glove if I had the money. I have the power. It’s ridiculous how hard I can hit.
If you are a light weight or middleweight that claims to hit with heavy weight power then really stop taking away from the class and be heavyweight or super heavyweight.

Anyways I use a variety of stances and guards, switch up ambidextrous quite often and often mislead people when they see me training a particular style. I make a lot of stuff up you won’t see.

I started to not eat breakfast in the morning. I mean, my alarm goes off at 501 am. I used to eat toast. Then, I’d drink a smoothie at 9 am that I made at 545 after sticking it in the fridge at work at 630 am. They got rid of the breaks at work, so now some of us don’t eat until 1 pm. Half the time I can chug my smoothie in 5 minutes. It’s worse for the techs that don’t have a desk and actually chew their breakfast. Anyways, the timing is odd. I can’t really drink my smoothie at 630 am. It usually has banana, granola, strawberry, spinach and chocolate pb cups. It’s a lot. Still trying to figure out when and how to eat breakfast. I’m guessing I will lose weight over the next 3 months, which is good, but eventually I’m going to continue to lose weight after I should. I eat about 80% of my calories by 1 pm. I remember my old yoga teacher ate from 11 am to 1pm and then nothing for 22 hours. I usually eat every 3 hours lol. I’d feel horrible if I ate 2000 calories in 2 hours.
Just cut out the sugar. Look at the back and look for added sugars. If you want to do the net carb thing whatever. If you have to do fake sugars do them. But cut the sugar. Not even milk sugar or almond milk. You can find zero sugar oat milk and pea plant protein you can mix with coffee.
Cut the sugar you lose the vulnerability of blurred vision and you can even eat more fat. If you do zero carb tortillas which are gritty you can wake up at night and load them with juicy chiicken or whatever and not gain a pound.
Eat veggies for digestive purpose. They let you eat .keep and digest more meat if you want.
If you do no meat fine, but have a gut ab le to extract protein like gorilla from leaves.
Fat + sugar = problem
This isn’t so focused on diet but workout fuel and recovery are important.
I would seriously reconsider meat and eggs Dan. I read several of Vince Gironda publications and he built a lot of champions on low cost foods. Eggs and organ meats. You’ll find that if you up your protein especially soon after workouts you will recover much faster and get stronger faster.
Hearts and livers etc.
You still do fish right? You could just do tuna sandwiches or salads as you don’t have to waste time reheating them. Cut out the smoothies. Just drink oat milk to ease your stomach or pea plant milk. Bring some kids sugar free mouthwash as it’s easier on the mouth so you don’t have to be that tuna breath guy

You can add alfalfa avocado cheese shredded carrot even a few raisins.

I do realize it is not quite on topic. You generally do a poor job of staying on topic. I also cannot stand tuna. I started earimg meat when I was sick in September. I felt the same, but I’m usually very hungry by 1 pm now, so I’ll probably stick with it.
Yes. It also makes the day go by a lot slower. You used to get a 20 minute break, but admin took them away. It’s probably worse if you work 10 hour shifts. They are technically 10.5 hours. If you stay or come in early to work another shift, you’d work 12.5 hours, but they are considered an 8 and 4 hour shift separately, so you would work either 3am to 330 pm or 7 am to 730 pm and ohly get a 30 minute break. I’m salary, so I don’t pick up extra shifts but if I was hourly, I wouldn’t now either.
It looks like in Massachusetts, you could work 16 hours and are only required to be given 30 minutes.
