Workouts and Training

It seems a far off reality of ever benching with 405 or even 315 for a normal workout. I would be happy with just doing sets with 225.

But the big three just suck terribly for me now. I can’t even get my arms anywhere near position for a squat or even have the bar rest on my shoulder blades. I have to keep it fully on my neck. I have so much glute pressure it feels like they will pop into a set of dragon or bat wings if I do anything approaching 2/3 of my body weight. The bench feels like I am one ant in a suspension bridge for an entire gym.

Anyone here train on a split? I was doing full body, then upper and lower. I used the classic 3 day push pull legs for decades off an on. Day 1 chest, shoulder, tris Day 2 Back and biceps traps rear delts, Day 3 legs and lower back, usually squat and deadlifts. I threw abs in whenever or the rest day. I would go 3 on one off and then the 3 day split with a day off in between.

To get off that track I was doing a mon, wed, fri split mon chest and back, wed legs, fri shoulders and arms.

I dont always follow that.

Im doing 4 day now
day 1 chest and back
day 2 legs and lower back
day 3 rest
day4 shoulders and traps neck
day 5 arms
day 6-7 sat and sun off

I will do full abs on a rest day or tack lower upper or side abs on to any workout.
I’m thinking of splitting it up even more. Gym sesssions are 55 minutes max that includes any locker or bathroom or pre workout drink time.

I am doing back to back sets with 15-30 seconds rest in between and mostly light pump sets to pre exhaust and than I do something heavy, but pumped and pre exhausted.

I thinking of splitting with Day 1 being Monday
Day 1 Chest
Day 2 Back
Day 3 Legs
Day 4 Shoulders
Day 5 Arms
Day 6 Rest
Day 7 Rest

Throwing in abs on rest days and doing cardio stretching etc.

Might switch day 1 and day 2 also dont know where Ill throw in lower back. Usually with legs. I don’t bar squat much though due to my frozen shoulders issue.

Do you dance, Mark? Two-stepping is a really great way to build leg muscle. Some people try to make you go two steps back and one step forward but that’s not right. It’s two steps forward, one step back. It’s also very fun.
You should try it.

I throw in a few dance moves every now and then. I got several from Ninja Re Bang Bang,

This looks good too. Just don’t care about bounce, jiggle, or blubber. Some people prefer the sculpted non moving torso look.

These moves are very hard to track. If you can get just one little bit and do the small dance part you can unlock others. I guarantee you do one 2-3 second move and it will be like doing an hour of hard stair machine or treadmill on steepest incline while breathing exhaust fumes.

There is a lot of choreography done on Ninja Re Bang Bang

These moves are easier if you can get one or two. Like I said just get one little sequence and keep doing it and it will unlock the others. If you can track it from the anime/game even better. it’s very hard to track. Extremely hard.

It’s hard to dance and sing without messing up the vocals with breathing patterns from the exertion.

This is the hardest comparison from the actual video versus the Nintendo Switch Ninjala.

I used to dance hip hop with youth groups.
Believe it or not as bulky as I am I have the equivalent articulation and movement level of a squad like this. It just looks like something sumo and hip hop.

Sorry had to edit. I don’t know these people but I have an appreciation for dance choreography especially hip hop.
Ninja Re Bang Bang is the song. Ninjala is the game on Switch. I don’t have Switch but I get ads on my phone from apps.

Play this at 25% speed for the best sound.

Here is another one that isn’t too taxing. You could probably sing with these moves with a steady voice not affected by the physical activity too much. Also the steps are lighter. I have to learn to step lighter like stepping on show boxes. When I do hip hop it’s nothing light.

I have been unlocking my upper traps, my scapula, shoulders and neck on my wood captain’s chair for about an hour now. It’s been a hot day and my muscles are a bit more pliable. So much better. Shoulders are looking bigger and I have increased my tip to tip reach by about 4+ inches. I really feel this on my heart. I have been feeling this painfully when trying to stretch the infraspinatus and rhomboids and just crossing my arms in front of my body and rounding. Now the pain is going away and everything is feeling so much better. I’m not worried about dislocating anything and the stretch is better attempting to beat the frozen shoulder with more muscle mass. I’m going to keep going until the benefits diminish. Best way to heart health. I count my shoulders as 2 auxiliary hearts.

Why not step away from noxious exhaust fumes and cut that time in half.

I don’t even have a car or drive and cant do that. Somebody has to breathe Michele.

Are you seeking out volunteers or…
Sometimes your words confuse me.

No.
Weighed myself today 320.6 lbs.

I have to keep working for a pump and stretching. Not just for good blood flow and mobility but to stretch out the fascia that is so tight it is preventing the muscle from growing and producing more output. Maybe it’s a blessing to have such tight bindings and its possible if I can beat the limitation I have more strength and growth potential. But I have to have to bring up my shoulders and arms, especially my biceps as priority.

Reggie, you are going to seriously have to do something to some neck training dude. Your wife can help you holding your forehead with your head tilted back over the bed or in a chair and then go in every direction. You don’t have to do front or back bridges, but you have to fix that neck. You are not even safe with an air bag in a vehicle.

It can end up being your strongest body part. I used to get teased about having a no neck. Now I often have the longest neck anywhere I go. Like a turtle or vulture.
