if i build a chess set, i’m going to want to play with it in a week
i need a stylized design for a knight nick nack off a lathe
kinda like the slash across the bishop’s head in a staunton

I suck at using a jigsaw. Or my jigsaw sucks. Was trying to get good at it because didn’t want to lose fingers on the scroll saw.

I just talked to my cigar friend. He quit smoking. I’m so glad I didn’t waste time making him a humidor. Maybe I can make him something healthier. A wooden trash can to throw his cigars into.

a 7 1/4 inch single bevel miter saw with a 60 tooth blade you can buy when the 40 tooth blade tries to kill you when the clamp fails and the shards fly is a decent compromise twixt the chain saw and the hand tool
