I’m not saying that at all, Reg. That would imply I want him to take the cat to a vet and spend a lot of money to kill him slowly when he can take the cat out back and shoot it. No. I’m saying Dan is being cruel to his wife and he comes across as a little tight. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. It’s not. I should be more frugal.
If he has the money to leave his wife, who may or may not (Dan is fit) outlive him, why can’t he break down and spend money for surgery so the cat can live a long and healthy life.

And what in the world makes you think the cat needs surgery? Did you not read that the cat is over 16 years old? Its life is coming to a natural end, and from what I’ve read, it sounds like Dan and his wife have given the cat a wonderful life.

He started acting human in the woodworking thread (this thread). I started liking him a bit. I even seriously considered lifting my self imposed mental embargo to engage with him on a few subjects. Then the koolaid kicked in and he went over to the Trump thread, put an index finger in each ear and started screaming, “I give my life over to the great orange God Trump!!!” Now the polls are looking bad for his side and, rather than face it, he’s run. Just like his fat orange messiah will run.
He’s got the election jitters just like his hero. They both know he’s going down. And yeah, he was tolerable in the other thread but couldn’t keep his shit together for long.
He’s clearly knowledgeable in his field. It does strike me that he’s never shown his work. I notice you didn’t hesitate to show some tables you built. Still, let’s assume he is a skilled craftsman despite his not showing his work. He showed his house which is not at all my taste and looks to be in the middle of nowhere but whatever, it took some skill and balls to build that and I’ll definitely acknowledge that. He could definitely be a good person. It’s just a shame that he’s such a jihaddi for his cause.
Ir’s a two story house. I asked to see the staircase as that’s a good indicator of knowledge and skill but he didn’t show it. Two bad he’s in the cult. Maybe he can get help.
Not just the staircase. He hasn’t shown anything at all. He showed some storage bins he put together as I recall, but those were plastic items he bought and just tacked up if I recall correctly. He talked about kitchen cupboard contracts if i remember right but never showed any. No interior pics of the house (aside from a home gym I remember seeing sometime). I’m too lazy to go digging through his old posts but I only remember seeing the exterior pics of the house, nothing else at all.
It could be he just finished the exterior and shot some pics. Could still be unfinished as far as we know. He won’t have the energy to finish after the election.
