We’re different in pretty much every way. We don’t care about college football here. We eat quite differently, as well. Oklahoma would crush us in tackle football. We accept that up here.
The thing that I don’t get is why the Oklahomans and other Southerners refuse to learn from the facts in evidence. They want good health care, education, lower poverty, etc. They just vote for people who want to remove healthcare and education, and increase poverty. It’s honestly baffling to me.
Maybe they want life to be more difficult. I’m not sure.
It’s amazing to me that our healthcare ranks that high. One thing almost every human agrees upon… US healthcare insurance sucks. I get why Michele doesn’t have any. More would do that here, but you basically get fined if you don’t. It’s almost like having a car with no insurance. My wife is ill and doesn’t want to pay for acute care again. Medicare has copays, which not everyone lnows. I don’t blame medicare though. I’d say more funding needs to go into that as life expectancy has gone up and we have a diabetes problem.
I suppose we have great healthcare, but our insurance is pathetic.

I didn’t know that, and I am disgusted by it. Copays should be illegal. Very few people in Canada have ever heard the word copay. Most don’t know what that is. The concept is totally foreign to us.
Very few people in the US would want a Canadian socialist styled healthcare system. The Canadian bureaucratic concept is totally foreign to a free capitalists’ way of life and it falls short of the higher standards that the people, who are in charge of our country, demand.

Our health outcomes are better than the US in every major category. For this, our people pay exactly $0 out of pocket. Nobody has ever heard of medical bankruptcy here. But enjoy your “standards”. They’re not high but they’re, well, standard. lol.
