I’m actually trying to stay under 1000 cals but it isn’t easy. I usually fail. Today I’ve had 160 cals and it’s 10:34. Hoping to end the day at 800-900 and then do the update barely conscious which will make it more interesting.

This isn’t a BBAD update but I’m about to clone the SSD on my main computer here in Colombia. If it goes badly, well, now that I think about it I’ll just use my Chromebook. lol. Anyway, I hope it doesn’t go badly. Should take a few hours.
EDIT FROM CHROMEBOOK: Yep, works fine.
My pics I post directly from my iphone here keep getting turned upside down. I can choose picture sizes and I am hoping if I choose small from the choices of small, medium, large, and actual size that will resolve the issue.
Well, that was eventful. The USB drive I needed to boot to wasn’t recognized as bootable by my system. I had to recreate it on Isa’s computer. Thank goodness we didn’t only have Chromebooks or I’d have had to wait until Monday and pay a local computer shop to do this trivial thing. As it stands, I’m fine. Might install Linux Mint on the old SSD. Not sure.
EDIT: My installed programs list hasn’t looked this clean for a very long time on this computer.
I upload pictures on my phone and they come out sideways here. Sometimes they show correct side up on the phone and then sideways here on my laptop. Sometimes they show up sideways on both my phone and my laptop but in my photo gallery on my phone they are correct side up. I do not rotate them at all.
Why not rotate them if they’re coming out sideways?
Doesn’t work all the time. I have to rotate and adjust size of image. It’s a different combination every time.
