I agree. It’s the most nonsense I’ve read all day.
I asked:
Where did most of the illegal immigrants migrate from?
ChatGPT replied:
As of my last update in October 2023, a significant number of illegal immigrants to the United States primarily came from Central American countries, particularly Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador. These countries have faced notable challenges, including violence, poverty, and political instability, driving many to seek better opportunities and safety in the U.S.
I like the result of significantly reducing crime. I always ridicule my country, no, I even hate my country, if another Hells Angel, Bandido etc. gang member gets accused of a crime which verdict (if even sentenced to a minimalistic time behind bars) doesn’t prevent their gangs from doing more crimes. I always thought why can‘t they simply make being a member of those or any gang a criminal offense which results in a severe punishment. I applaud El Salavor for fighting crime effectively. I am just against a trade in which innocent get caught as well. The gang membership must be proved, though.
I just don‘t get, when you are fine with even innocent people being imprisoned, that rapists and murderers don’t have to face more years behind bars (namely literally a lifetime as well), despite they ruined and/or taken a whole life of their victims as well and also ruined the lives of their families for good.
I agree with this 100%. In Canada, joining Hamas, or even donating to it, is a crime, but joining the Hells Angels is fine. It’s stupid.
You, you don’t get it, this is the key to the whole thing and it is exactly why the west has no stomach for it. The gang membership need NOT be proven. Due process was suspended. If you give everyone their day in court, there is no way El Salvador could have achieved this turnaround. The gangs owned the courts. Bukele effectively said, “if you have a gang tattoo on your face, you probably did something wrong and we’re going to throw you in jail. Maybe you’re innocent, and that sucks if you are, but we’re going to save thousands of innocent lives for the price of a few innocent gang members.”
Again, the west has no stomach for this. I do. I would throw every single Hells Angel in jail. Wearing a Hells Angels jacket would be an automatic 2-year prison sentence if I was King.
I will explain why, but I don’t expect you to agree (and that’s fine). To me, results are everything. I have no interest in “justice”, which I consider to be just another word for vengeance. Achieve results and the system is working. Fail to achieve results and it is not.
El Salvador suspended due process and threw gang people into this horrible prison/concentration-camp and look at their results. Spectacular! They have gone from one of the most dangerous places in the world to one of the safest, in just ten years.
On the other hand, with murder and rape we have lots of examples of “tough on crime” countries like the USA and China. They throw murderers and rapists in jail forever and they have zero results. They don’t even have less murders or rapes. Total failure.
If you care about justice, this isn’t important, as your goal is to punish. If you don’t care about justice (like me), the results are obvious and they are a total failure.
I get it. I am just not willing to go down that whole path. It‘s a no go to me to throw someone into jail without having a proof. In case of an Hells Angel membership, the possessing of their jacket would be enough proof for me already, though. No involvement of an actual crime other than being a member.
And I disagree with your analysis. Given the high relapse quote of rapists for example, literal lifetime sentences have an effect.
I agree with this for Germany and Canada. We don’t have enough of a problem to do anything so radical. El Salvador did have enough of a problem to do that, and I support their decision.
That said, I would support the criminalization of facial gang tattoos. Actually, any gang tattoos of any kind on any part of the body. A ten year prison sentence for having one of those seems fair. People who got them before the law took effect would be grandfathered.
Yes, I can relate and agree to that. If a country is in an emergency mode, the first answer to its problems can only be rough and general. Similar like fighting in a war, in which also innocent people often have to die or suffer.
i think this is the main reason why humans dont change for the better: when things get rough they choose not to hold on to their believes and values but to abandon them and become similar to the monsters they dislike
you do not fight fire with fire, you fight it with water!
They did change for the better, Nico. I saw it with my own eyes. They went from being the most dangerous place in the world to being one of the safest. Young girls don’t worry about being gang raped. Young boys talk about going to university instead of joining gangs. Erika can walk anywhere in San Salvador at any time of day or night without fear.
did you, did they? if you make yourself blind or have a lobotomy you wont see any issues and wont worry about or fear anything, if you lock yourself inside a prison cell, the endresult is that you are also safe
safe doesnt mean better
end results are nice but its how you get there / the journey that really matters
You are stupid as usual. They do conflict. To the core, they conflict, unless we are talking about two completely different subjects and in that sense both are true.
Don’t worry too much, Reg. You will never be King. You judge what you know nothing about. Hells Angels are nothing like those gangs. They don’t go around raping and murdering innocent people for money and pleasure. Have you ever been to their home? Have you ever dined with them? What really do you know about them? I mean, you know those gang members kill and in brutal fashion. Share with us a little about Hell’s Angels.
Disturbing. What are results? In your perfect little world what qualifies as “results”? Providing gang members with an indefinite luxury hotel stay, 2000 $ a month at taxpayer expense (the way American taxpayers unwillingly provided for them), a phone, all bills paid and a ward robe?
Obviously, they must be shot in the face.
Unless you live in America and then you just stand and watch until everything burns to the ground.
If there were even one innocent life, I would let them all live and grow together.
that could make sense but the problem with these extreme measures is that you wont know who is innocent or not because they are not given their rightful chance to defend themselves in court…
You don’t always know, that’s true. You can make a pretty good guess 90% of the time, though. And in cases where your country is uninhabitable due to criminal gangs killing and raping thousands, 90% is good enough.
not even 99,99999% is enough!
yes we can “safely” live under the guesses and assumptions of dictators like bukele and trump where some are not treated like human beings and deported / locked up because they look differently… or we can give everyone their rightful day in court and at least try to be fair and civil and live in democratic countries
