You obviously mean parents like me. If I indoctrinated my children they would be indoctrinated into my belief. One has denounced God.

That doesn’t really make any sense. Your parent believe in God, you were sent to a Christian school and you came out believing Jesus is a flying pink elephant. Can you say anything at all that helps me understand how that happened?

the invisible (thats still important) pink flying elephant is just an excellent metaphor for all things that people create in their mind in order to feel special, to feel stronger, better, safer, more right and just etc etc than others… its the perfect safety blanket that nobody is allowed to question
