Don’t worry, Nico. They didn’t pick up weapons to save anyone. They just sat there and let the Bosnians get massacred. They’re real Dutch by your definition. 
nice try but you are wrong (as usual) on 2 points in my definition; although they were outnumbered and had less weaponry compared to the bosnian serb troops… they were still soldiers (even if they hardly used their personal weapons and were instructed not to fire)
so 1. they were soldiers 2. they were carrying weapons

By the way, soldiers aren’t generally expected to fight only when they aren’t outnumbered or outgunned. I am sure there are many courageous people in the Netherlands. It is not what the nation is well known for, however. Dutch courage is a common phrase in English, and it’s not flattering.
