Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.
Isaiah 7:14
Who has believed our report? To whom is the arm of ADONAI revealed? For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, like a root out of dry ground. He had no form or majesty that we should look at Him, nor beauty that we should desire Him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief, One from whom people hide their faces. He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our pains. Yet we esteemed Him stricken, struck by God, and afflicted. But He was pierced because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities. The chastisement for our shalom was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. We all like sheep have gone astray. Each of us turned to his own way. So ADONAI has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted yet He did not open His mouth. Like a lamb led to the slaughter, like a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He did not open His mouth. Because of oppression and judgment He was taken away. As for His generation, who considered? For He was cut off from the land of the living, for the transgression of my peopleā the stroke was theirs. His grave was given with the wicked, and by a rich man in His death, though He had done no violence, nor was there any deceit in His mouth. Yet it pleased ADONAI to bruise Him. He caused Him to suffer. If He makes His soul a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, and the will of ADONAI will succeed by His hand. As a result of the anguish of His soul He will see it and be satisfied by His knowledge. The Righteous One, My Servant will make many righteous and He will bear their iniquities. Therefore I will give Him a portion with the great, and He will divide the spoil with the mightyā because He poured out His soul to death, and was counted with transgressors. For He bore the sin of many, and interceded for the transgressors. - Isaiah 53:1-12 TLV
See above and then be sure to deny it as proof.
Youāre making the argument that even though there was writings about Him before His birth and after His death, that because nothing was written about Him during His life, He must not have existed but your own words testify of His existence. Your denial of Him is testimony of His existence and fulfills prophesy that He Himself spoke of because youāre not arguing the point about Him. If you were, it was poorly executed. You are openly denying Him, prophetically fulfilling Timothy 2:12 into your life.
if we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us; - 2 Timothy 2:12 TLV
no sane person could see that as proof:
The book of Isaiah was written over time by multiple authors, with First Isaiah (chapters 1ā39) coming from the late 8th to early 7th centuries BCE, written by the prophet Isaiah himself or his followers. Second Isaiah (chapters 40ā55) was written during the Babylonian exile, and Third Isaiah (chapters 56ā66) was written in the post-exilic period, continuing a process that likely lasted for over a century.
First Isaiah
Timeframe: Written during the ministry of Isaiah, from approximately 740 to 700 BCE.
Author: The prophet Isaiah, son of Amoz, and his followers in Jerusalem.
Context: Focuses on Judahās spiritual state and the contemporary Assyrian empire.
Second Isaiah
Timeframe: Written during the Babylonian exile, a century after the first section.
Author: A later, unknown author, referred to as āSecond Isaiahā.
Context: Addresses the people during the exile and the coming restoration.
Third Isaiah
Timeframe: Written in the post-exilic period, during the rebuilding of the second temple.
Author: Unknown, possibly a compilation of writings from other prophets and sages.
Context: Outlines the need for a redeemer and describes the coming Messianic Age.
Why Multiple Authors?
-
Stylistic and Thematic Differences:
Scholars point to variations in writing style, tone, and historical context across the different sections.
Historical Contexts:
The book references different historical periods, such as the pre-exilic era, the exile, and the post-exilic period, suggesting different authors.
to be clear: the babylonian exile (there are stone tablets, ration records and letters of this written during this timeline) took place about 2500-2600 years ago, which means isaiah 53 was written about 500/600 years after your jesus supposedly lived
no iam stating that there is zero writings or any evidence before or from the timeline your jesus supposedly lived
just think about it⦠why would nobody write about it during that time? sure there was a lot of illiteracy but any main event and surely any āmiracleā that supposedly happened would have been documented by historians and certainly by the romans within lets say 3 years of such an event taking place, yet there is nothing?
logical explanation why they didnt document anything during that time would be that your jesus was of no importance and/or those miracles never happened and your jesus never existed
there is nothing there to deny or argue about since there is zero evidence of your jesus let alone of anything he supposedly said
if someone has blind faith they can and will believe any crap - thinkingaboutit 2025 bbad forum
No sane person, with faith, needs to see it.
no sane person could see that as proof
Of the last 3000 years, that view has only been held by modern scholars in the last 300 years and their opinion/theory means nothing, to me.
makes sense; people with blind faith have no use for real evidence
That makes you a perfect fit.
wouldnt say perfect but yes since i dont have any faith at all it makes me a suitable candidate to see if there is evidence or not and inform you about it since you dont care about evidence
Iād love that but there is no evidence that you could share that would change what I think, although it would make for great entertainment and Iām all about being entertained they way you have been for all these years.
naturally, we all should live our own life and choose our own paths
Let down! I thought you were going to see if there was evidence and inform me about it.
why would i do that? you dont care about evidence
That isnāt true, Nico. I do care about the evidence. I just donāt need it.
nice job, you almost made that sound like thats not an issue for you and everyone near youā¦
Itās not an issue, that I know of.
then may you have as much blind faith in wearing a seatbelt and not drink and drive as you have in your god
I have no faith in my seatbelt saving me from death. If I crash, become trapped by my seatbelt and my car catches fire, Iām going to burn but Iām not given a choice. According to the law, I have to wear it.
And what about drinking and driving?
there are always many choices
you have the choice to acknowledge the evidence that this is a bad thing to do if you care about yourself and others, or pretend evidence doesnt matter and have blind faith
True. I can choose to break the law, get pulled over and receive a citation.
I donāt drink and drive nor do I want to.
You mean do like you?
no, i mean do like you! think for yourself instead of blindly following nonsense
And how do I do that apart from a source?
