Amen to that, Michele.
That guy whose videos about the US I’ve been watching did one on Oklahoma. To my surprise, I liked it. Low crime. It’s not urban but whatever. If you want a US drive-everywhere life, might as well live it there.
You can see why these unique buildings interest me. In Oklahoma, they are all the same. Run down, one story, shotgun type houses with a church. I enjoyed the video though and the commentator lol.
I liked it more than you did. I was very impressed with how low the crime rates are in Oklahoma small towns. Vastly better than the crime rates in Missouri and other nearby states. It’s also greener than I had thought it was. The lifestyle isn’t very walkable but if you can accept that (and most Americans can), it doesn’t look like a bad place to live.
I didn’t say I didn’t like it. I’m just used to seeing that scenery in every town. Those run down, dilapidated homes should be condemned as dangerous, unfit for restoration and bull dozed. Most are infested with termites and/or black mold.
You are right, crime is low in Oklahoma, for the most part and yes, the further you go East and North, the greener it gets. You are correct in that it is not walkable anywhere because of low population, except in bigger cities and in these small towns there are very few two-story homes or large structures. Most people don’t have much money but they would do anything for you.
That’s Oklahoma.
This is my mental image of Oklahoma.
Come and chat with us, Michele. Tell us your latest conspiracy theory.
Why you wonna be so mean, Reg. it’s a day of thanksgiving.
That’s not mean. I loved her.
Oh what nonsense. You loved pointing out rude, wrinkles and southern slang is Oklahoma but I dont know whachur talkin bout.
I would totally go to that restaurant. I would skip the green beans. I would be tempted to ask if they had any vegan options just for entertainment’s sake but I’d probably be too chicken.
Nothing is vegan here. You would probably have to travel to the blue zone in Dallas for something real in vegan food.
Do you support the death penalty, Michele?
Only for those who need it.
This is why we are getting a third lane. Oklahoma posted “Do not impede left lane” signs on the highways several years ago. The driver in the left lane should have obeyed traffic laws.
The truck should have, too.
That is obvious, Reg. It’s almost certain that the driver of the car was driving way to slow and he was probably in a hurry to get somewhere unimportant in record time. More than likely he flashed his lights and honked but the car probably ignored the request and the warning. He clearly developed road rage and was going to pass even if it meant running that car off the road. I see this all the time.
Michele, as usual, you are being silly.
The black car in front of the red truck was going the exact same speed as everyone around him, and more importantly, he had another truck in front of him. He could not have gone any faster. This entire incident is 100% the fault of the red truck, and the black car’s behaviour was faultless.

Also this.
That’s the problem, Reg. The car should have been moving faster or into a different lane. In the fast lane, the car should have passed every other car on that road.
