Trump is a failed dictator, cutting everyone out of an opportunity to win the Nobel Peace Prize. Some say its not even worth anything. It lost its important purpose after it was given to Obama, for no justifiable reason, in 2009.

Unifying NK and SK would be like unifying China and the United States. Unless South Korea cuts it ties and removed its US military bases it is probably going to be a no go. North Korea would have to move it’s Chinese presence as well which may mean blocking off a secret tunnel connecting it to China.
I don’t think China and the US would ever go to war. I think they would go to war as NK and SK. With the former sending in troops and equipment to NK through the tunnel fighting under the guise of NK military.
I think that is why the US has to maintain such a strong presence in SK. Because if attacked the entire population can be replenished in troop numbers with Chinese military if not sheltered and relocated in the tunnel system if it exists. You can always have a stock of Koreans to keep up the facade.

North Korea announcing zero COVID cases is just like saying they will be getting zero help from China. The announcement seemed rather heartbreaking to be such good news.
Good news they will be getting near 2 million doses of Astra Zeneca according to COVAX, The doses will be produced by the Serum Institute of India.
