I think the first time I‘ve heard the word „soul“ either was in the catholic teachings at school or when having to attend the church. Later I questioned the religious teachings about it and as a result reject all religious definitions of it. I believe it was given to me by my parents and ancestors, just like the rest of me. And I believe, that a soul will die along with the body of a human. Probably as the last of all functions. I don’t believe in an heavenly/hellish afterlife nor in rebirths.
So you have the belief it passes through your blood line from your ancestors yet your individual soul dies with you. Sounds a bit like you have belief of eternal life for your soul through your offspring …may you have lots of children which continue to reproduce for your soul’s sake…
Not entirely correct. We inherit what we call our individual body as well as our individual soul from our ancestors. That‘s never 1:1. Therefore our individual soul just dies like our individual body. But yes, in a certain way you also can say that all human beings (and likely many other animals) live a bit further in their offspring. But not in the meaning of the same body, soul or as being reborn etc. They are totally individuals, just equipped with the genes of their ancestors.
Left or right, Christian or not - you find idiots everywhere. But I really wish you become a better person eventually. You could start with renting also to families and people with pets for example. Someone who thinks on her own instead of just checking a „holy“ book, which you interestingly ignore when greed and personal goals get in the way.

Why am I judgmental, if I interprete your advise to Dan (sorry, I don‘t want to search for that silly post of yours), to better not rent to people with children and/or dogs, as that you apply by your own advise? You don‘t? Then why would you give Dan such a recommendation?
Listen, Gunda. I allowed dogs with one rule. That they not take their pets on the carpeted areas. Just between you and me, if someone sends me a message and tells me they want to stay here but they can’t leave their dog at home, their dog will be allowed to come here.
Animals don’t get to go everywhere people do. In fact, controlling where people go on private property is totally acceptable so it’s certainly ok to control where animals go. My apartment building in Vancouver banned dogs. I approve. This doesn’t mean I hate dogs. I paid to rescue a dog earlier today. I like dogs. I just don’t believe they should be allowed everywhere.
