Life is good

What about the trees? Instead of neutering them all, I am ok with sending all the world’s pit bulls to the Netherlands.

uh huh and you should send all the trees to the netherlands as well, so they cannot be killed by white pitbulls…

She’s good girl. Only 11 months old.

Irish cream, I believe is the color. Technically, she is a Labrador retriever.

I hope it turns out for this little, very shy man, that life from coming sunday on, is good. My neighbours Mom is engaged in a different street dog rescue organisation and one of their foster parent lost her house due to fire. So this guy can’t stay with her any longer. My neighbour asked me and I agreed, given he allegedly is kind to everyone, even cats. So I will bring him home on sunday. Cause I know already, that I probably can’t send him away again, lol. I am a bad foster place. :see_no_evil:

How many pets do you have, Gunda?

Two cats and one dog.

I don do well with pets. They need petting and I’m a little neglectful to pets if they haven’t been bathed. I don’t like bathing animals. They stink. You are turning your triangle into a square. How do you so easily commit to what could be years of responsibility to that many animals and without regret? I mean to say, I know you love them but why commit yourself to so much responsibility?

I only can say that I always loved animals, especially horses, dogs and cats. I also always liked children. Why that is, I cant explain. I am aware of the responsibilities. But I also must say, that I wouldn’t have any of the cats, if my landlord back then would have allowed to keep a dog.

Yes it is. Cheers to status Reg, Canadian Resident Alien

Yes we are all right there with you. No record update will not move forward.
Non citizen resident alien Reggie now traveling abroad.

Can’t say I blame you there. I’ve watch so many cat videos that there is no way anyone could convince me that cats don’t destroy everything. It’s good that you commit to cats knowing you will end up with something broken but thank God for superglue, right lol.

Our cat didn’t destroy anything after about 5. Before that she did.

You made my point perfectly but I can’t believe it took you 5 years to stop putting things out there that provoked or tempted your cat.

Like the sofa? lol.

lol if you stop urinating on your sofa then pets wont feel the need to do the same to mark their territory…

If he’s still alive maybe he should thank a cow or pig for the insulin.

He didnt eat yesterday, but this morning he did. He is very shy and extreme sensitive, if my hand hovers over his back (without touching it). Interestingly he doesn’t mind if I caress him in his face and even on his head. But as soon as I go towards his back, he moves away and looks like if he expects pain.

My cats behave themselves so far. They are stlll very sceptical, lol.

May I introduce to you: Kajetan from Slovakia. It appears there is some Corgi and some German Sheperd (among others) in his genes. Huge head, unproportional long body and way too short legs.

aww poor thing, that sounds like back problems and/or abuse :frowning:

No. I’ve never seen any videos of cats destroying sofas.

This morning he interrupted eating and walked to me for caressing him. So I did for a minute, eying and holding at bay my animal vacuum cleaner cause always ready to eat everything Jamie, lol. After caressing, I stood up and brought Kajetan back to his bowl and he ate it completely. He appears to be very human focused and easy to handle. Yesterday after our walk I let both dogs in the garden for that I could clean his bed (he hasn‘t bathed since he was brought to Germany from the animal shelter in Slovakia and indeed stinks. But I need to give him a week minimum before he is ready to deal with new and probably never experienced bathing and claw cutting. But he is a good natured dog. He won my heart over finally this morning, lol.
