Life is good

Thats very kind of you, but he isn’t a beauty at all, lol. Totally unproportional body parts. But main thing is his character as well as Jamies opinion. I assume from our todays lunch break in the garden, she thinks he may stay permanently. :kissing_closed_eyes:

yup lol thats a great pic of them sleeping! showing they accept and trust eachother

your sock is also nice

Nice foot Gunda. Great work with those dogs.

It‘s an old sport sock, lol. It was my lunch break and I actually wanted to catch a few of those still rare sun rays as well, which just managed to get over the concrete wall. It was sunny yet chilly.

I am glad I listened to my gut feeling today. In the morning I was at the office and a dog sitter usually covers these regular monthly appointments. But despite Kajetan didn‘t growl or fletch his teeth to me, I had doubt if she could handle him. Meaning to put a leash on the dog harness (which I let on him since I left this morning) on his back. But due to his sensitivity regarding his back, I asked my fearless neighbour instead. He really growled and fletched his teeth towards her, she told me, lol. She nevertheless managed to put the leash on him and leaded him into the garden at about 11 am. But I was relieved I finally listened to my gut feeling. Should have trusted my gut more often in the past.

Beauty isn’t about proportions or even behavior. It’s more complicated than that. I find it usually has to do with someone’s story.

Few can appreciate and see beauty of the spirit.

Somebody has a blocked throat chakra that is repulsive. Please no astral projecting.

Watch the damage level.

Ok, then he is a beauty indeed, as he surely but unfortunately has plenty not nice things to tell about humans if he could speak any of our language.

This is true for most of us.

I doubt that.

Last night I wrote to the organization that I want to offer Kajetan a forever home. They agreed. Paperwork will be done in a few days to make it officially legal.

Not sure if I should keep his name Kajetan or rename him. New start, new name.

On his last picture, he looks like Gracie. Just with an intact teeth front, lol.

Have you ever tested DNA for any of your dogs? They have lots and service just like for humans.

No need, as this won’t wash out those Corgi genes and also won‘t turn him suddenly into a stately German Shepherd :dizzy:

Great response!

congratulations to you and all your pets… enjoy!

Congratulations to both of you, Gunda.

Re the name: “Kajetan” is a boy’s name of Italian origin, meaning “rejoiced,” and an Anglicized form of the name “Gaetano”. It’s associated with Saint Gaetano dei Conti di Thiene, also known as Saint Cajetan, a 16th-century Catholic priest.

I actually liked Kajetan, but three syllables are simply too long for a dogs name. But I think I will stick with Italian and my favourite yet is Luigi. It’s a nice name for a little and friendly man.

Yup, he‘s a Luigi. Herzlich willkommen daheim, Luigi! :dizzy:

Congrats Gunda!

lol doesnt luigi also have 3 syllables?

In Germany it’s pronounced with two syllables. Lu-ge…like the phlegm you cough up.
