Life is good

Since I put up that ground feeding station in an attempt to aid also robins, flocks of other birds, mainly tits and sparrows, are using it. Unfortunately, from that very first day I put up that feeder, the wren hasn’t been seen anymore. Wasn’t the effect I hoped for. One more robin arrived, though. But both robins dislike each other. At least the older resident of both robins still seems to live below my garden cabin. I see it often hiding there from prey birds. Yesterday I noticed while refilling the feeders, that there were blood drops spilled on the plexi glass, where through a small gap the food inside falls down and out. Guess some sparrow or tit got caught, as I have seen both robins this morning already.

Unfortunately I can’t upload videos made with my mobile phone here. So, I just post a pic which I made after she ended her berserk run.

Life is good isn’t it Reggie? Do you still enjoy an active lifestyle? Must be quite the feeling you have . Its great when people take back their lives from incontinence.

I know, I know you asked me to try not litter the forum with broken up posts and even used to words you knew what hard is.

But about your healthy and current lifestyle and relationship…were there any sensations or feelings of regret letting go?

Yes, we are still very active. We spent today driving around in our little convertible with the top down, and later today we’ll ride our bikes for an hour. In two weeks we’ll be in Montréal and in three weeks we’ll be in San Salvador.

Yes, Mark, life is very good and we are very blessed. I am grateful.

I was just getting me the last cup of coffee before driving again at the other side of Zeitlarn where the path to the dog Strand right behind the weir begins. It‘s such a beautiful day outside.

And it‘s funny, but my heart jumps every time of joy, when I see any of those two robins having survived the past day and night. There are two of them. The older resident is a very fat one. The other one is thin. Unfortunately they dislike each other. Probably having the same gender. I spotted the sparrowhawk last week sitting on my fence. It’s amazing how sensible these bird of preys react to anything moving. Magpies are also similar sensible. Contrary to their potential prey. It‘s nature and bird of preys are fascinating creatures. Beautiful. But I hope my two robins will be safe.

I’ve got to trim the green that came after the ash and rain. :mosquito: And biting flies coming on but i have so many colorful new birds now hovering above and snacking. It’s like they followed me from bird watching.

We met only one couple with two dogs at the strand. Lunch time is a good time for a dog walk.

That little dog only has 1 eye, but he’s tough.

Dogs can live quite well with only one eye. I doubt he even realizes it as a handicap (anymore).

It was quite warm here. First time this year I walked without a scarf and gloves. It freezes only lightly in the nights. Weather forecast says it’s getting warmer this coming week even.

This fellow looks like a very soft natured one. And he seems to have white fur. I think I haven‘t seen any such breed having white fur. Only beige.

its obviously a mean white pitbull that kills trees

That beautiful white dog is the main reason we need to neuter pit bulls out of existence. So that an insane pit bull killing machine doesn’t render that beautiful dog limb by limb.

what about the innocent trees!?
