It’s disappointing that you don’t see the signs.
I see signs and portents, not of the coming of Christ, but of the world getting sick and tired of Israeli atrocities.
Herzl and his crew knew that in order to achieve their state, enough of his people would have to die that the world would feel sorry for them and eventually help them achieve their goals. Perhaps the Palestinians have learned that lesson. It takes stones to play that game. The Israelis have stones. Perhaps the Palestinians do, too.
I note with great interest that the entire BRICS world is against Israel on this matter. Will this turn into a world war? I doubt it. There’s not enough skin in the game for BRICS yet. In time, that could change, especially if Saudi Arabia and some other Muslim nations join BRICS.
I just looked it up. Argentina, Egypt , Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are all scheduled to join BRICS in 6 weeks. All of those nations are dead set against Israel, at least as far as their treatment of the Palestinians goes. It may take another 20-50 years but I can’t see the state of Israel surviving long-term in its current form. Actually, I can’t see the USA surviving in its current form long-term, either.
Just thinking aloud here: if BRICS did a common currency, the days of western domination would be over immediately. They’re smart. They know this. There are many reasons not to do it, especially with China wanting the Renminbi to become the world’s reserve currency, but if they could get over that and pull it off, the balance of power would never again be the same.

Yesterday, a French owned tire manufacturing plant in Ardmore announced they are winding down production to be completed by 2025. That is going to destroy the economy in this county but there’s nothing we can do about that. Michelin built a plant in Mexico during the Obama administration so they exchanged high taxes and regulations for a low quality product at a higher price.
A two-state solution means surrendering Israeli land to Palestine and that just can’t happen because there is judgement attached to dividing of the land.
What nonsense. That Chinese dodged the truth by not answering to that Israeli direct question. Both Russia and China, along with every country in the world which voted against Israel on this resolution, would fight back with much higher force than Israel does and did in the past, when Hamas fired rockets deliberately onto civilians.

There was a big anti-Israel, pro-Palestine demonstration in Vancouver today, right by the art gallery. There were large pro-Palestine demonstrations all around the world today.
This is an old picture of the art gallery with no protest going on just to show where the protest was. The overwhelming sentiment in Vancouver appears to be pro-Palestine, but that’s just my anecdotal observation, not any kind of scientifically rigorous data.

Two things won’t be close. The battle won’t be close. Israel will turn the soil red with the blood of Palestinians. The opinion of the world won’t be close either. Every country on earth with the exception of a handful of rich white western nations (including Canada and the US) is supporting Palestine.
Israel seems to be dominating the war and not following any laws, but in the view of the world, they have lost.
Israel will crush the Palestinians in this war. That was never in question. It has totally lost the war for its long term survival, however. The entire non-western world is now against Israel.
This could get ugly.

No. Or they’ll survive the way Al Qaeda and Isis survive, in tiny groups of crazy people hiding in the mountains of Pakistan.
I don’t think they want that. I think they want to send a message to the world, “mess with us and we’ll destroy you and we don’t care how many innocent people we kill”.
