Interesting. I didnāt know we still killed whales. I see it is mostly done by the Eskimos you claim we kicked out. By the way, weāre supposed to call them Inuit now.
I am an immigrant to Canada. Nobody has an issue with me. Nobody would ever dare call me an invader or suggest that I should not be here. Nobody says Iām displacing anyone by being here. Nobody would dream of suggesting my different race should be a consideration in assessing whether I should be in Canada.
Why, then, are the whites who immigrated to Canada in 1608 considered invaders? Why are they said to have displaced those living here? Why is their race considered fair game in criticizing them or assessing whether they should be in Canada?
The truth is the whites who first came to Canada for permanent settlement in 1608 (and those who followed over the next 412 years) have every bit as much right to be here as anyone else. No more right, no less right.
What is an intelligent, intellectual, European thinker to one is a Mindless Dutch Pansy to another.
lol yes ofcourse!
i welcome all people to live everywhere but when there is already a house on a certain spot the people living in that house surely have more right to that location since it would not be very fair for someone else to destroy that house and place their own on that location
Your house example is stupid. No Dutchman has any more rights to displace an existing house than an immigrant.
Do Muslim immigrants have a right to come to the Netherlands and settle in search of a better life? Do Mexicans have a right to go to the US and settle in search of a better life? Do Turks have a right to go to Germany and settle in search of a better life?
lol my house example is a practical example that is used by many that see borders everywhere
not quite, here is another practical example for you lol: if some ancient relic is found in the ground then all and every immigrantswill be displaced, if that relic is found underneath the house of one of our royal families then they will make that house protected and becomes more valuable and they can continue to live there
as i said, in my opinion all our welcome to live everywhere but there are always rules and circumstances and excuses from people that will be considered valid reasons for certain people not to settle in certain places
No there werenāt. There were no rules in Canada in 1608. There were no laws in Canada in 1608. The natives didnāt even have a written language. Nor did the concept of āimmigrationā even exist.
If all are welcome to live everywhere (as you claimed above), the white French settlers of 1608 should be welcome to live in Canada. They were decent people in search of a better life, not the bloodthirsty invaders that modern historical revisionists are trying to frame them as.
amen! lol
you should watch the mandalorianā¦ one of the more interesting characters has a great line that he repeats several times, although he has more logic and makes more sense to me than you do;)
anyways, i think you really should consider finishing all your posts with:
āi have spokenā
No, I have very few issues with anyone. I get along with most. The internet has changed the world drastically in many ways but none more profound than this: opinions are now so plentiful they mean almost nothing. This includes both mine and yours, of course. We all state our positions and (aside from a tiny handful of exceptions) nobody cares and nobody ever changes because of it.
I do not care about racism in North America. I experience no racism in my life that I am aware of and I donāt choose to seek any out. Cuando no tengo problemas, no creo problemas.
I doubt many care enough about me to have issues with me. Even if they do, I have no issues with the vast majority of people, including those who may have issues with me.
I do not care that you care. You donāt even exist to me outside this forum.
EDIT: Sleeping now. I do not care what you type next.
