Looks like the SPD is back. First time since Schröder if I recall correctly. I think it went Merkel-Schröder-Kohl-Schmidt but I might be missing some. My German history isn’t great. Schröder was a dillhole, anyway. I think Merkel and Kohl were CDU and Schröder and Schmidt were SPD. Either way, if I’m right, the SPD will take the next turn.
