Germany

most if not all political parties in germany (and all over europe) have recognised that their immigration laws needs adjusting, thats no excuse to vote for a fascist party

you dont make anyone more educated by remigrating them…

the only suicide that i see is you giving in to your frustration and hate

But thats exactly it, Nico! They havent acted yet at all and are only babbling nervously about making a (small) change, because of the AfD! You still don’t realize that it were idiots just like you who made far right parties in Europe rise. Congrats.

Every 5th citizen wants the AfD to be in the government. If the CDU/CSU wouldnt let themselves lead on their nosering by the Greens, SPD and Merkel, Germany finally would get the much needed correction and change. But Merz is too much a hypocritical coward. Copying the AfD agenda but chickens out when he gets the chance, lol.

oh they are acting you just dont want to recognise the smaller changes your government already made to asylum laws, its all about costs and effectiveness… a couple more smaller changes could be all thats needed instead of blind drastic actions because of a few idiots that drive their cars into crowds… (which likely would only cause more of those events)

lol i have zero affinity or contribution to your fascist party; nazi’s created it and people like you make it bigger, not me tyvm

According to the latest poll predictions, AfD would come in second with 20%, right behind the CDU/CSU with 30%. Let the CDU/CSU and their potential coalition parties fight and build another instable government, lol.

The FDP and BSW won’t make it. Good news if that would happen. A pity only, that the Left gets in. They are even wayyyyy worse than the Greens.

But there are up to 38% of voters who still don’t know which party they shall back. Geez. I don’t understand how people can be that much desinterested in politics.

as long as afd doesnt get in, its good news!

Why does Germany stink at hockey? They seem to be pretty good at team sports.

Ice hockey? It‘s not a popular sport in Germany.

Germany in general has no efficient system to find out what kids are good at. Our schools don‘t offer diverse sport programs as US schools do. Actually none at all. If you aren’t lucky enough to have parents wanting their kids engage in some sport activity (same applies to playing an instrument etc.), then you don‘t do any sport, music etc.

Yes. I did mean ice hockey. You have impressive athletes and work well together in futbol and basketball.

It’s a good thing that you don’t push it on children.

Our government does not push it on children and does not finance youth to become athletes at young ages. Other than schools offering sports. We do have pushy parents, immoral coaches and an unhealthy obsession of sports, but it is not government related. At least not federally. Certain states pay a ridiculous amount of money for a guy to coach american college football.

A Jewish immigrant from Russia backing Björn Höcke.

thats normal, afd is very pro russia and anti arabs… so double idiotic reasons for him to be sucking up to this fascist (besides extra followers on his private site… disgusting)

I should rethink watching tv state news again. If I already have to pay the fees for them. The bit I see online is promising. I enjoy how the AfD drives the old parties nuts and up the trees, lol. They won‘t be in a governing coalition, but without pushing them, the outview would be even worse than Merkel and her left parties lead and will Germany lead to.

What that video maker left out, though, is that also the Greens and the SPD broke their words, not just Merz, when it comes to „not“ voting together with the AfD, regardless with subject (which in itself is plain idiotic, unprofessional and undemocratic). They did vote with them several times already.

Gunda, I am not knowledgeable about German politics, so I asked ChatGPT to summarize the AfD’s economic policies. Can you seriously support this?

  • Exiting the Eurozone and returning to the Deutschmark. Possibly leaving the EU.
  • Lowering taxes on billionaires. No more wealth taxes or inheritance taxes.
  • Reducing government spending on everything.
  • Opposing climate change mitigation policies and supporting burning coal.
  • Opposes free trade agreements. In a country that exports so much?
  • Opposing the minimum wage and supporting labour deregulation.

I know you support them on immigration and I get that, but the rest of this is insanity.

The original response from ChatGPT:

The Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) promotes conservative, nationalist, and market-oriented economic policies with the following key positions:

  1. Euro and EU Reform:

    • Opposes the euro; advocates for Germany to exit the Eurozone and potentially the EU.
    • Supports a return to national currencies or a smaller currency union with stable economies.
  2. Taxes and Spending:

    • Supports lower income taxes, particularly by simplifying tax brackets.
    • Seeks to eliminate inheritance tax for family businesses.
    • Opposes wealth taxes, emphasizing private property rights.
    • Favors reducing government spending and bureaucracy.
  3. Energy and Environment:

    • Opposes Germany’s energy transition (Energiewende) and rejects climate change mitigation policies.
    • Supports continued use of coal, natural gas, and nuclear power.
    • Opposes carbon taxes and emissions trading.
  4. Trade and Industry:

    • Advocates for re-industrialization and strengthening domestic manufacturing.
    • Favors trade protectionism to protect German businesses from foreign competition.
    • Opposes globalization and EU-driven free-trade agreements.
  5. Welfare and Labor Market:

    • Seeks to reduce social benefits for non-citizens.
    • Opposes the minimum wage; supports labor market deregulation.
    • Advocates for pro-family policies, like tax incentives for parents.
  6. Monetary and Financial Policy:

    • Critical of the European Central Bank (ECB) and its monetary policy, particularly low interest rates and asset purchases.
    • Advocates for a national central bank independent of the ECB.
  7. Immigration and Economy:

    • Opposes immigration, arguing that it burdens social systems and labor markets.
    • Supports policies that favor domestic workers.

Their policies reflect a nationalist, protectionist, and market-oriented stance, with skepticism toward globalization and international institutions.

Yes, I mainly support the AfD due to the migrant (or rather mainly Muslim) issues and the selling of our values to please especially this group. It also has to do with the abuse of the current asylum law as an immigration law and the needed abolition of the individual right for asylum, the dealing with denied asylum seekers and immigrants, dual nationality, the welfare and different treatments of asylum seekers and Ukrainians incl. housing and healthcare for them.

I also agree with their position regarding increasing incentives for getting more children.

I don‘t know where ChatGBT got it’s information regarding free trade agreements. A quick check on the AfD website says exactly the opposite:

The AfD is also pro minimum wage. It just opposes the current demand to increase it to 15 €/hour. It rather demands to increase the netto income by lowering income taxes and social security contributions.

I disagree with their demand to abolish inheritance taxes. But I also acknowledge, the the current law favours the rich.

The AfD is pro EU, but alike the Brits they see the need for huge reforms. And I agree with that. They only propagate the exit if the reforms fail.

Similar is their approach regarding the currency. The EZB finances the weaker economies by purchasing their bonds. This needs to be corrected. The Euro harms both the strongest but also the weakest EU members. Certain countries shouldn‘t have been allowed to join the currency due to failing the criterias. And they still don‘t fulfill them. If the needed correction fails, then th3 AfD demands to leave the Euro. There are alternatives like the prior Ecu, to keep the advantages.

I disagree with their attitude regarding human driven climate change. But I disagree to switch the energy sources the way done by the Greens and the SPD. That was only ideology driven. It makes no sense to switch off all nuclear plants and import it from other countries like France.

Let me do Germany for a while Gunda. I might have more at stake there than you…not to mention more German well being and happiness overall!

Don’t make me turn Germany against you to prove this. You have no idea how far back and how deep my claim goes.

Don’t be an obstruction.

Oh I let you. Feel free to wreak havoc upon Germany. I applaud you.

Well spoken.

you should make a german political party called “silky shits on germany” and she would vote for you lol

She is silky.

yes, there is a silky in all of us
