Screaming is always ugly, regardless if it’s done by a woman, man, dog or any other animal. It‘s a call for someone being in need and/or in terrible pain. If this screaming really was a protest, then my guess is their screaming stands as a proxy for every woman being a victim of misogynism, be it oppression, violence, rape or murder only because of the gender.

My guess is he will dodge this question again just like you did. Or if he really answers, then he rather will keep it vague and squirmy.

Maybe that’s because I had catholic teachings, but I learned Jesus as the son of God is higher ranked than angels. But at the end, I don’t really care as either belief wouldn’t have any effect on me as a human, even if I would consider me a Christian whichever denomination. But the way women are portrayed in those silly books of the Abrahamic religions do.

what is the point? to me it sounds like that despite that you know its indoctrination and religious nonsense invented to dominate others, justify sexism, hatred, racism, violence etc etc… despite all that you choose to embrace some of it because… you think you need the rituals because you like them and you dont mind their origin and purpose?

if that makes you feel better iam happy for you and jealous like iam of all religious nuts; i wish i could turn off my brain and feelings and pretend and join in and forget how this makes this world an awful place to live in for everyone

That can’t be it. Do you have any other guesses?

Nonsense. He will probably let you ramble on until you answer your own question with something satisfactory for yourself.

Ahhh…you felt their ugly pain too.

But we see One who was made for a little while lower than the angels—namely, Yeshua. He is now crowned
with glory and honor, because of the death He suffered so that, by the grace of God, He might taste death for everyone. - Hebrews 2:9 TLV

Oh, I see. Your painful cry is valid and should have an effect on everyone around you but regardless who it is, if they are not female their suffering means nothing.

You do seem helpless.

Seriously, why do you believe this? I disagree of course, but I am honestly curious from which writing of mine you draw this conclusion. I get that you quoted me to response to. But you have to read something from it which I don’t. Therefore I really would appreciate how you interpreted my post you quoted with your own words.

Well, you stated you didn’t care, which I personally don’t believe but it’s your post. You’re willing to dismiss the origin of man’s authority over women to force a different answer, one Reg will never give you because he deny’s the Source from which he draws his beliefs.

yes, iam helpless in the way that i dont want or need any imaginary sky daddy to look over and take care of me nor any of the wicked outdated cultish crap that reinforces such believes

lolololol…okay.

I only don’t care if that Jesus in your book is ranked lower or higher than an angel, as neither would affect me (or anyone else!!!) in reality, but the description of women in your book does. I didn’t know your Jesus suffers by being lower ranked according to your religion. If he really suffers, then of course I care - you very well know that I even care for fictional characters. So, regardless if Jesus exists or not, if he suffers, then I personally would beat up that bloody angel who bullies him! :flexed_biceps: Just please don’t say it’s Lucifer played by Tom Ellis. Here I am biased.:innocent:

But seriously, who suffers on earth if Jesus is lower ranked than angels?

If where Jesus was ranked doesn’t affect you, why would any other characters in the Bible affect you?
What I’m asking is, why do you care where women are ranked if you don’t care where men are ranked?

:thought_balloon:I bet she’s screaming/calling in need/pain, looking to a little child to lead her.

You. Are. Freaking. Me. Out. Sometimes. :scream:

Well, I told you why. Women are considered subordinated to men in all Abrahamic religions because all those „holy“ books say so. Or is that not the case?

Who get effected by Jesus being ranked below angels (btw. according to your religion not according to the Catholics)? Men? Women? Both? Please explain who and how it does effect that group.

I shouldn’t engage but I have a quiet morning so I’ll spare a few words.

Gunda, there are about 8 billion people on the planet, 4.8 of whom are adults. ChatGPT estimates that about 3 billion of those are in normal heterosexual relationships.

Those 1.5 billion relationships are not all the same. In some cases, the man will make the decisions. In others the woman will. I personally know of a case where the woman makes all the decisions and I have no issue with them. In yet other cases, all decisions will be made by mutual consent, although I note that in my experience most of those end in divorce.

I, personally, prefer to be the decision maker in my relationship. I do not care at all how other people do it. My life, my choice. You choose your own path. From my observations, your chosen path will likely lead to your dying alone, but that’s your problem and your choice and I am not trying to advise you.

Clear now? (Of course not, but I probably won’t read whatever bunny boiling follows.)

I believe Scripture states that women may not rule over men because of poor judgment. Would you want someone to rule over you who demonstrates poor judgement?

It affects me because He had to become like me.

So much babbling and squirming, without answering directly to my question again, lol. From all your long boring post holds only the first of those two sentences I quoted at least a bit of a relevant content to my question.

So it’s correct to say you view your current partner as subordinant? If so, and my interpretation from your talkings about your past relationships is also correct, then you always viewed your partners subordinant to you, because you were the decision maker, right? If this also is true, then why is it allegedly wrong to say you (I don‘t speak of others) view women as subordinant?

That‘s exactly the point, Michele! And the answer is a big fat No!

But it’s not just that I don‘t want anyone to rule over me with poor judgement, I also don‘t want to be ruled, even if that guy was Tom Ellis or Pierce Brosnan. Just like I wouldn‘t want to rule over my partner. That wording is just so far from how I view a relationship based on mutual respect and affection. Jesus Christ.

Anyway, to claim that one gender has always the better judgement than the other one lacks simply any proof. Not even a person knows always more about a topic than the other.

Why had Jesus to become like you?

Oh, I see. You prefer lawlessness.

I’m sorry I can’t offer you any proof but Eve ate it despite being warned.

Uhm…no. I just want that both partners discuss and then decide together. May the more knowledgeable win.

In your fiction book.
