Jesus Christ, Michele, lol. I tried to concentrate on the lyrics, as I doubt itās the music which you like. I failed because my ears gave up. Maybe I will have muse enough to google the lyrics later.
PS: I hope you and your family got a plan and the needed help, to get through the hardships, life currently shows to you.
Guess it was in class 7, when my favourite teacher asked us to bring our favourite English song to listen to and to discuss it with the class. This was the one I chose. Was the most interesting school hour I had.
I enjoy the beat first. With this particular song, the lyrics werenāt as meaningful as the title, which was just me goosing Mark.
I do actually like 3 Doors Down though.
I remember when this song came out but Iāll be watching the video the first the first time today. I hope itās good. Enjoy.
Ahhh, lol that was a nice video. Iād give myself a heart if I could.
The bandās music is not my cup of tea, but yes, video of humans showing emotions of love for each other and their children is nice.
Itās Sunday, and the spring sun seems to have finally decided to come and to stay. After two weeks of clouds, rain and chilly days, where I was off work (vacation). Bad timing, but hey, at least she finally came.
It would have been nice to know that.
Hope you rested. I donāt think it was bad timing at all. Apparently, you needed that kind of vacation.
No, if I would have had a say, Iād rather would have taken those vacation days later due to the amount of work at my job. But I had to take them now or never due to legal reasons.
Thought there once was a Favourite Movie section here, but whatever. The music contributes 50% to the magic of this wonderful movie anyway. Re-watched it just now on tv and laughed and also cried a tiny bit. So many great moments, lol. And such great music. In the following, I especially love the low passages with the piano rolling high.
There is. It has 690 posts. You posted there just a few weeks ago.
Thanks, maybe it was too late last night.
Another love song, this time about his wife. Every time I listen to certain songs of him, I canāt other but talk with deep awe for his lyrics and the way he manages to narrate a story with his pleasant voice and accent. Pure joy and relaxation for the mind and soul.
for those who dont know the song facts:
- This is about Brenda Spencer, a 16-year-old high school student who lived across the street from Cleveland Elementary School in San Diego, California. On Monday, January 29, 1979, she opened fire on the school with a rifle her father had given her for Christmas, killing two adults (including the principal) and injuring nine children before going back to her home. Police surrounded her home and waited for seven hours until she gave herself up. In that time, she spoke with a reporter on the phone. When asked why she did it, she replied, "I just started shooting, thatās it. I just did it for the fun of it. I just donāt like Mondays. I just did it because itās a way to cheer the day up. Nobody likes Mondays. *
That song sucked when I was in high school and sucks worse today.
lol i take it you dont like it
and why is that? you dont like the melody, the sound of the singers voice, the meaning of the song, your high school time?
All of those, and Bob Geldof is an irritating Irish twit who spent his life staring at his navel thinking of things to complain about.
I didnāt click on it but remembering what it sounds like caused some vile nausea.
I would rather read thinki complain about my bishops than listen to that song.
