Omg there is a zoom thingie, for pics, despite spending 10 hrs a day on the computer for my daily bread I am still technically crap lol

Notice how it starts?

Mark is still strange …

You still smile like a hyena matriarch.

Ya think? Hi Julie, long time, hope all is well. I have been voluntarily locked down since early in the year to the delight of my neighbors. I think I am learning to be agoraphobic. However I now amuse myself by taunting the HOA online and reading Marks informative posts. Good to see you again.

Hiya Will, good to see you too and glad you’re well. Been too long, I’ll try and pop in more often, even if it’s only to catch up on Marks posts

We watch 2 sports on TV here, F1 and UFC. Both have resumed. Neither is permitting fans at the events, yet. It’s interesting to see the differences.

UFC is weird as hell. The fighters do their ring entrance with their music and…nobody’s there. The announcer comes out in his tux and introduces the fighters, working the crowd into a frenzy…except there is no crowd. The ring girls strut their stuff in their bikinis holding signs up showing what round it is…to nobody. I hated it at first but now, weird as it is, it’s becoming the new normal. I preferred the old way but if Nurmagomedov fights McGregor, I’ll watch.

F1 is interesting in how little I even notice the fans aren’t there. Honestly, I don’t care at all. I couldn’t care less if fans are ever let back.

If this is actually a vast conspiracy to turn us all into zombies who never leave the house, it’s working in my case.

UFC is not interesting to me anymore. I don’t feel like being ripped in half to make two fighters. Or just looking like a torn half.

What worse is a fighter half already half the weight who is then just ripped in half.

I don’t care how much free ice cream, I don’t want to fill in any voids.

Exaggerated heights are like mattresses. You come to fight but couldn’t even get out of bed.

Futbol is back, too. I wonder if the players care. Probably not during play, but maybe when the match is over.

The shutdowns aren’t. You might consider crafting a foosball table.

International futbol involving Colombia’s national team isn’t back. Isa will watch that when it resumes. Right now it’s only local futbol in empty stadiums which neither of us cares about.

My 30 year old nephew got the ok from his boss to work from home permanently. He immediately planned his move out of Toronto. He has a young family and wants more children. He can’t possibly afford a house in Toronto. If he moves to, say, Windsor, he can buy a nice 4 bedroom home for maybe $300k with only 5% down since he’s a first time buyer. It’s impossible not to see the good sense of that move.

I wonder how many others will do the same. More people are working from home now, especially as lockdown teaches us that many things we thought needed to be done in person can be done online. I wonder if the Covid-19 lockdown might begin a diaspora of sorts from expensive, overpriced and overrated cities.

They need to start placing financial penalties on people who want more children.

I don’t have a young family and want more children. I don’t have any children. And that is due to economic constraints.

There are already plenty, Mark. Having a kid is one of the most expensive things you can do.

I understand. Unfortunate. It’s probably too late for you, but take comfort in the fact that it’s probably not a good thing to bring a child into this current world.

I also have no children but I have no regrets. I do not want children. I am not well equipped to be a father. I would find it difficult if a son of mine came home and announced he was actually a girl and wanted to wear dresses and cut off his penis. In Canada, I’m supposed to celebrate and just want him to be happy. I wouldn’t celebrate. I don’t care if he’s happy.

Just until the waste/garbage/trash problem is solved and too many guns.

Those are serious but they aren’t the only problems we have.
