Going forward, I think the best scenario would be after 4 tiebreaks, so really 8 matches, they go to Armageddon. White has an extra minute and must mate. The player with the better performance to get to the finals gets to choose the color. That and say, “No. You aren’t allowed to split.”

I had no idea Magnus was marrying. Good for him! She’s not really my cup of tea but whatever, that’s irrelevant. Marriage takes the competitive spirit out of most men.

I don’t understand clearly what you are saying? You don’t want to compete in chess, or you are saying you could easily take this female away from him should you choose? She is obviously a source of happiness and healing for him.
I know you to be a snide, but do you harbor resentment towards him to assert yourself and claim a female you have no attraction for?
Mark, don’t be silly. I would have no chance of taking his woman away from him and I would never try. I am happy for him that he has found a woman to spend the rest of his life with, and I wish both of them health and happiness.

I would avoid going to any professional chess games if I were you. You would probably get punched in the face by about every competitor you have commented on.
I don’t recall having said anything unkind about any of them. I called Hikaru irritating, which is the simple truth. I said I don’t find Magnus charismatic. I said Gukesh underperformed at the WCC. I honestly can’t remember saying anything else negative about any of them.
It would be entertaining. If one of them did punch you, you probably wouldn’t want to press charges although you could.

if i ignore him trying to sound hip, i do like his move analyses, seems like he is learning quickly from stockfish and the guy can actually play chess!

Reggie’s effort seemed selfless but it becomes more sinister. The more he lost of himself the worst it’s gotten. Notice the peace and sudden release of guilt and shame you and others felt when he was forced to confront certain aspects of his behavior and thinking.
He even spills his evil over in this topic and aficionados. It’s not healthy, but he knows that…he also knows he has to be careful so you don’t notice.
