The car made it to the dealer. I have a loaner car. A new 2020 Passat. Beautiful car. Tempting to keep it. I won’t, though. Silly to buy a car now when I’ve got this much uncertainty in my life.
I’ve never really driven a Volkswagen. Just judged them. Not their drivers though.
You don’t like VWs? God our tastes are so different. I’ve loved them since I was a kid. BMW is the brand I’ve owned the most of but VW is the brand I think makes the most sense.

Id get a vw over gm, Chrysler, any English or Italian car. Which means I’ll probably never buy one.
Chinese cars will probably get bigger over in USA too.
I’ve ridden in many Chinese Ubers in Colombia. Several brands I had never heard of. Generally speaking, they’re cheap excrement. Stuff doesn’t fit well. Doesn’t look good. Feels very unpolished. Give them time, though. They’re going in the right direction on quality. Right now, though, they’re off the table for me.
United had a 25 dollar flight to ft Lauderdale. Amazing. At that point, I’d cancel the flight.

Their stock gained 60 dollars in trade yesterday and today. It also split at around 2000 a share. I was lucky enough to get in on a sliver of that. Tesla stock shouldn’t be worth more than 2 or 300 a share. He must be living right.

What kind of car? Definitely more of a pain to buy from an individual but usually cheaper. Do you have a mechanic check it out ahead of time or just throw caution?
