No, it’s not that kind of a deal. It’s one somebody doesn’t need anymore because the person got a new one and might be s close friend or relative.

I haven’t bought a car in several years. I want to walk myself through the whole process to build up confidence to when I actually do. This is not a sale just a transfer of ownership, like if your sante fe got to under 2k value and I was already familiar with it from small maintenance and repairs and you just gave it to me rather than continuing paying for insurance and parking and vehicle registration fees and didn’t want to just junk it or sell it to somebody for 1K.
And there are minor problems.

Sorry, I’ll give your details as things progress for me. Just as soon as I typed this without flushing our toilet backed up without use most likely the main drain from the washer as that overflowed to the top. Waiting for the plumber. It’s just one of those types of deals when everything will fall through.
Sounds like you are doing a good job planning it out.

Being back in Canada, I decided to act on this old post and I bought a tire pressure monitor. Not the one I linked a year ago, but one that had better reviews and which made sense to me from a practical point of view having both solar and USB charging instead of taking up a lighter plug. I like it very much so far, but it’s only a few hours old. I hope it lasts a few years.
I bought a chipolo and set it up for my mom. That way she can find her keys with her phone and vice versa. Also comes in handy as a spidey tracer.

I’ts an 09 patriot and nothing has been finalized. I need some new plastic push pin rivets because the other ones snapped and I had to pack them with electrical tape when I had to remove the frame to change the lights.
i think the value is under 2k and I dont what insurance will charge me, hopefully not as a new driver.
not braided. the rubber hoses lasted 20 years.

You can get a thumper but it might be considered a billy club.
Have you tried rubbing your thumper with collagen? Sometimes that tightens the skin enough you forget all about that thumper. Good luck with that. You need it.
took my truck in today, New radiator hoses, replace weatherstripping on doors, oil change. Get it back tomorrow.

In your lifetime, what is the total amount of money you have spent on buying cars? Not repairs or maintenance. Just purchases.
Mine is $52000 not counting a $3000 trade in. That seems a little high for me.
