Outboard motor of course too.

Just looking an exploded schematic and writing down physics equations…it’s all coming back to me, but somehow I don’t need it.

Are we not all gods? Doesn’t everyone here own a lawnmower?

Most of us do, but most of us know the difference between a car and a lawnmower.

I don’t. My lawn is a slab of concrete that sticks out from my building.

Well you can buy a power trowel and join the club.

Seen this line of bikes by the way?

I think they are all 7hp electronic magneto pull cord start engines (4 stroke not 2!).
Top speed is a little over 30 miles per hour but it goes through very thick mud and the tires can float it I think.3000 pound tow maxcapacity and 800 pounds drag. That is good for a little over 200 pounds.

Of course I dont think it will support my weight and feel more like I’m pushing it with my legs on the floor.

I thuink those numbers might be exxagerated.
The site says 2000 tow on specs.

60% grade climb, that’s a sheer cliff!

I hadn’t seen those before. They’re not my style at all. I’ve never been one for the wild outdoors. I like my outdoors nicely mowed.

Sorry. I know this post isn’t about lawnmowers.

I would get this car in a warmer climate. It snowed last night. I have the day off. I was going to rake acorns but I guess not. Anyways. I don’t think rear wheel drive in the snow is a good idea. Some drastic changes anyways. Rear wheels are fun. Great horsepower. Great gas mileage. Midsize. Mazda is working a lot with toyota now, so I bet the hybrid part will work well. 2 years away. Unless of course nobody works for another 2 years.

Like every company, Goodyear is now struggling so we will see when these are mass produced. I’m interested to see the price. It seems to be using AI which means the tire will be smarter than some humans.

There are already tires that are smarter than our president.

It’s gorgeous but I just wonder if it’s not an out-of-touch move. I don’t know how others will deal with the current world situation but for me, I plan to be extremely cautious with large purchases for a few years (at least). I’m not saying I won’t make any large purchases, but they had better be amazing deals (which I doubt this will be).

Speaking purely for myself, any car purchases I make will be used and I’m very inclined to stay under $35k USD and stick to cars that get decent gas mileage (Fiat, Nissan or BMW, Dan, lol). I even briefly toyed with giving up the car entirely but that would screw up my life in Vancouver quite badly. We have a lot of friends/activities there and go places that are hard to reach via transit. Now is a good time for everyone to look at reducing the size of their life to the bare minimum, however.

Some of the really old GTIs moved me. Like from the 80s. The modern ones look awful.

I don’t find anything cool about Toyota or Volkswagen. Not much of a compliment. I’d buy a toyota. Not a supercharged Corolla. They are generally boring, but boring usually means less expensive. Not that toyota is inexpensive. But once you have a Corolla, they are so cheap.

Not bad. Manual Honda is not a bad move. That’s some serious mileage for an 11 year old car.

Not too many manual drivers around here.

That car is a good deal but I would only look at something like that if money was tight. Something with 50-80k miles will usually give you years of use without major hassles.
