its pretty much the same situation the dutch had, the belgian government will appeal / go to a higher court and change some laws and it probably will be done, except that this court decided it will fine the belgian government 5000 euro each day they didnt cancel all corona restrictions lol

The judge gave the Belgian state 30 days to present a sound legal basis.
They should be able to do that, I would think. God knows a lot of our lockdown measures are stupid but they’ve all survived court challenges around the world as far as I know. The one that pisses me off the most is the closing of half the exits/entries in stores in Canada. That’s just so asinine I can’t even express it in words. How in the world does forcing the same number of people through one opening instead of two or three help stop the spread of covid? Drives me crazy how stupid some of this stuff is.
