I drive the DTES (Downtown East Side) every day to and from the office, Nico. That’s our crappy area. It’s nothing like the homeless encampments in Seattle and Portland and San Francisco but it’s not nice looking. Lots of drugs and petty crime.
The people in that area have demonstrated time and time again that they are unable to make informed decisions. Due to drugs or mental illness, they lack (or have never developed) the ability to process information and make decisions in their own best interests. We’re going to make those decisions for them.
Is it a slippery slope? Yes, definitely.

I probably missed that history lesson where they informed us about the volunteers among the German, Jewish and gypsy etc. inmates in the concentration camps under Hitler, Nico.

You are just as desperate in your attempt to avoid admitting, that it‘s simply not justified to call a voluntary approach with a concentration camp, as you were yesterday when I have seen your over 20 minute long attempt to reply to my street dog help offer, lol. 
its not desperation when someone doesnt admit to something they dont believe in… desperation is trying to come up with and enforce drastic solutions to problems that are not your own
