I just see hundreds of employees of an Ukrainian powerplant standing peacefully in front of russian tanks and block their entry to their powerplant.
And another ukrainian activist is brave and right with her demands:
its understandable but silly at the same time to demand these things now from other governments while her own government chose for many years to profit from both the west and east
if they had chosen either side this would not have happened

Inflated fuel and grocery prices don’t seem to be a problem. Some might say you voted for it. Why should chips be any different?
I have never really blamed a president for gas prices. They are probably where they should be. You could carpool if it bothers you. I do twice a week.

I think it is about 57 cents per gallon for federal for gas. It is listed as 18 cents and there are some other federal fees. That’s not that bad.
Cigarettes are technically taxed at a higher federal rate.
By the way, what’s this sudden horsecrap about Ukraine being a child trafficking hub and that’s what this is all about? That’s a lot of crap. Nobody even mentioned this until the Russians started to lose.
And lose they are doing. I never thought this possible before but I am now starting to think the Russians might actually lose this war outright. Their troops are demoralized and stalled. The giant convoy heading to Kyiv hasn’t moved for 3 days. They have huge military supply issues, including not having fuel for their vehicles or food for their troops.
Russia itself is now the target of the largest scale economic war any of us have ever seen. Their oligarchs are on the run (on foot, as their yachts are being confiscated). It’s only a matter of days, not weeks, before their people start to feel significant impact on their daily lives. In very short order, we will start to see internal uprisings and pressure for regime change in Russia.
It is becoming clear to me that this foray will be Putin’s demise. It might take years, but his end is in sight. I will not mourn him.
PS: We should do the same to our oligarchs.

Obviously, Ukraine is a cesspool of corruption and child trafficking is only one part. It’s a little disturbing to think the US is funding the very thing we invaded Iraq for allegedly having.
