How did our socialist programs pass legislation if the majority is against them?
Democrats. FDR, Wilson, LBJ. Every once in a while a republican will do a socialist move like in 2020 when a bunch of people got checks from the government. Mostly so they either didn’t starve or become homeless.
It does seem like Republicans do have problems with some of our current socialist programs. FEMA, medicaid are two that Republicans seem to have a real problem with. Even the military, which Trump said was full of suckers and losers.
That fits with his most recent statement that we don’t need anyone.

But it seems no one had a plan how to prevent the blocking of the Hormus passage by Iran and the US suddenly calls for Europe, despite not being asked before the atracks, and despite taxing us heavily after spreading so much lies and threatening to take Greenland by force and certainly pressured enough to get away with a deal favouring the US. And now pressuring again the Europeans and lying about the great US “help”, which under Trump only is about selling weapons and doing everything to extradict the highest profit possible from the war in Ukraine, by making economic deals with Russia and Ukraine to exploit Ukraine when a peace deal is made. For the disadvantage of Ukraine and Europe. Go fuck yourself, Trump. We Europeans inkl. Ukraine don’t owe your USA anything.

I don’t know what they had planned but we shouldn’t have to ask. We have stood with and militarily supported our alleged allies without formal requests from a policy of interventionism and they should do the same, although it has already been determined some European countries will reject all support for the United States in any Israeli war.
What disadvantage? The wealth of European nations has being poured out on Ukraine. Noone owes the USA but the same countries that have been made rich by drinking the wine of western immorality will stand idly by in sorrow as they watch us burn but I pity them because they align themselves against God.
