That wasn’t really the question but I do agree.
In some ways, yes. We take care of certain demographics based off socialist programs. Basically, anything government funded to benefit citizens is a socialist program.
Medicare
Medicaid
FEMA
Social Security
Transportation Department
Military
So, we have some programs that help govern. Not enough, or you’d have health insurance.
Who do we thank for that?
Those that oppose socialist programs, mostly. Basically all Republicans and half of democrats.
