Looks like Trump violated his gag order while simultaneously winning his case but the judge has denied the order for an immediate directed verdict. So the witch hunt goes on.

I find this beyond any ability to fathom. Trump faces the rest of his life in prison and he’s still quite likely to beat Biden in the election. My only hope is that he ends up in prison before the election.
Thats because Trump has mental acuity to lead, even from prison. He is willing to make that sacrifice and I’m fine with it.

I’m still feeling extremely uneasy about the US presidential election in a year. It just looks like a total excrement show. Biden is old, senile, and unpopular. Trump is fat, stupid, crazy and likely to win if he’s not in jail, which itself seems quite possible.
I’m not sure how Trump’s (seemingly inevitable) bankruptcy will affect his popularity. The New York case is going very badly for him. It’s looking like he’ll lose Trump Tower and even Mar-a-Lago (which is a stupid name that means nothing and was obviously coined by some non-Spanish-speaker to sound Spanish). His whole image is that of a filthy rich fat pig which appeals to some percentage of crazy white people. I’m not sure a guy talking trash while living out of a van will cut it for them.
Things are going well for those of us with Trump Derangement Syndrome (and I include myself in that group). The only real wildcard question is what happens if he’s elected before he’s thrown in jail?
