Wrong. They DA does have to tell you what the the charges are, and has done so. The indictment specifies exactly what the charges are.
This is not a campaign finance law violation. This is a state of NY investigation about lying in official business records. Entirely different laws about entirely different matters in entirely different jurisdictions.

The DA has 5 years to prosecute a felony. That means the charges must stem from a crime he committed in March 2018 or later. The indictment indicates his crimes were in 2017.
They are saying he used campaign funds to reimburse Cohen.

When Trump says something and then totally changes his story (“I never said I’d build a wall right across the whole Mexico border”) we are to blindly accept the new truth as gospel, even if it was a total lie. Lie #1: Trump did not build a wall right across the Mexican border. He did build a tiny section of wall on that border, but nothing even close to the sea-to-sea wall he promised.
Lie #2: Mexico did not pay for the tiny part of the wall he built, or for any of the vastly larger portion which never got built.
I don’t want Mexico to pay for anything. Trump does. And they didn’t. And they told the fat orange pig where to stick it. And from the obese look of him, he did.
