This thing took an interesting twist when that banker told the bank I was questioning the whole thing on FB.
Here is the text message my loan officer sent me the next morning…
PPP program
“We just got word that SBA has run out of funds again—not very many got approved yesterday. We are, therefore, not accepting any more applications at this time.“
Me: Ok thank you
Then she replied with this…
oh brother.
“You’re welcome. It was pretty chaotic yesterday with online transmissions. People’s is who we were taking these loans through, and they worked 15 hours yesterday. The SBA has checks in place not allowing more than a few (5,000?) applications coming in at once. But, they forgot to tell the lenders, so lenders were struggling all day to submit but couldn’t until late because of the system setup. Whoever got on first (big banks were thinking) were able to hog and bog the lines.”
Me: I understand. We all tried. That’s all anyone can really do. Thank you, again.

This is the same bank we have been with for over 30 years. The same bank that rejected me for this house loan under the guise that it was a high risk loan for commercial use but in fact was already aware that Dusty would only provide the down payment but not a signature.
So I called the bank that didn’t know me but approved me based on my qualification for a loan. 
Do you know those funds are still available? 
are they?
We are going to close all but one account today, if I have my way about it.
