So I called the bank and was given a heads up on all the documentation I needed to move forward. I was told I needed two forms of ID and one needed a photo. I was also told a Birth Certificate would qualify as a second for of ID with our DL’s.
I was told they would start taking applications at 9: 30. When I got to the bank on Monday morning, our BC’s were rejected.
why?
I asked her the same question. Her reply was that it had “Certificate of Live Birth” at the top.
I don’t get it. so what?
That’s what I wanted to know.
I assume that’s the BC the state gave you.
So instead of answering that question she turned to her computer and started talking about all the other forms of ID I could provide. Passport( I don’t have because I’m never leaving my country) cannabis card(I don’t have, yet, because marijuana is still too expensive here). Conceal and Carry License which I do t have because I don’t need one in Oklahoma.
The last option was a ss card.
I couldn’t find Dusty’s card even though I’ve been carrying his in my purse for years.
here’s what I found.
The certificate of live birth simply verifies that you are medically alive, whereas the birth certificate verifies who you are, who your parents are, where you were born, and your date of birth . Without your birth certificate , you cannot prove who you are.
So these are two different documents?
