He may not have been attracted to her. He certainly didn’t allude to that in the hearing. It was my assumption when I listened to her testimony.
According to her, the first awkward encounter was an invitation to go out in a social setting. His bad behavior escalated when she rejected or ignored his early advances.
In fairness, he didn’t do that. He joked about there being pubic hair on his soda can.
Thomas was drinking a Coke in his office, he got up from the table at which we were working, went over to his desk to get the Coke , looked at the can and asked, ‘Who has put pubic hair on my Coke ?’
On this there’s no question. I also don’t want to sound like I’m defending him. The world would have been better if he had never been confirmed. I just wish there were clear rules. What Thomas did (telling crude jokes at the office) was nothing, like not even in the same universe, as what Trump did but Trump becomes President. We need a clear set of rules that applies to everyone.
Well there wasn’t a trial. In a trial being found not guilty does not mean you are found innocent. Merely that the charges against you weren’t proven.
What to say about this remark? I guess Brown v. Board of Education was conservative?

Hearing starts at 9am.
Hopefully the votes go to Yang and Yang stays in until the primary. I f all the votes for smaller candidates went to Yang he would win against any of the three current leads. As he would get a share of 2 of the other 3 leads.
I suppose people are afraid that in the first month of the ubi everyone will buy an AR-15 and overthrow the government.
Trump won suprisingly. I think it was because he was seen as the most Democratic of the Republican candidates. Trump being a former Democrat would support the statement.
Sometimes I look for republican qualities amongst democrats.
