Another example just came to me. The Bible forbids eating pork in exactly the same place as it forbids homosexuality. The Levitical scripts. Most Christians ignore the pork rule while piously quoting the homosexuality rule. They love their God, but not enough to diet for him. lol
Interesting. I thought that only applied to Jews. Christians make a point of having ham for Easter dinner.
Christians like to eat pigs. Jews and Muslims do not.

Indeed, and yet Leviticus is also part of the Bible. It contains the only prohibitions in the Bible against incest and bestiality. If the prohibition against pork doesn’t apply, just logically the prohibitions against incest and bestiality don’t apply.

Looks like the Mueller testimony was a bomb for our side. I am sick of losing. When is it our turn?
When congress gets off its ass and starts impeachment hearings.
Or we have to wait till his dumb ass is out of office and put him in jail. If we still have a constitution.
I’m so sick of false starts that I’m no longer sure he’s going to face the music when he gets out of office.
He escaped any outcome from the prostitutes he hired and nobody even talks about Stormy Daniels anymore. In fact, her lawyer who promised to bring Trump down is now facing so many criminal charges that he’s likely to go to jail long before Trump will.
Then we waited for Mueller and that was the biggest bust I can remember, sort of like when Geraldo Rivera opened Al Capone’s vault on live TV and there was nothing there.
Then we waited for Mueller’s testimony since we were told Mueller would have charged Trump if he could have but he couldn’t so now we’ll finally get the truth and nada.
Now we’re waiting for Trump’s taxes which will surely show he is an asswipe which we all know already but likely won’t result in his impeachment.
Even if the four women in the “squad” introduce impeachment motions, they will go nowhere. Republicans control the senate and the public has no appetite for this so it’s quite likely they will hurt Democratic prospects in the next election if they do this.
Finally we’re hoping he gets charged when he’s out of office, and obviously he should be on a dozen different counts, but that doesn’t mean he will be. The whole thing has been a farce so far with him eluding justice a dozen or more times. I wouldn’t put it past the messed up system to do nothing about him after he’s out of office. He might die of old age in comfort just like other asswipes like Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe.
Insult to injury his dumb ass will probably be re-elected. After another four years there will be no constitution and he can declare himself king, or as he likes to put it, president for life. Has a nice ring to it eh?
If he’s reelected, I would lose all faith in the US. I feel sorry for the sane half of your country that despises this guy.

Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
