Thank you all. I just landed in Vancouver and need to sleep for 24 hours. I’ll catch up on BBAD then.

It’s rainy here. Spring is definitely here and the city is lush green. I wasn’t gone that long but it feels like forever.

From a business perspective, it was a good time for me to disappear for a few weeks. Work is quiet.

The condo and car look the same. A light switch in the living room is on the fritz and will need to be replaced.

The boat is in its slip. We had hoped to be on board for the delivery but we weren’t. The slip is filthy, and so is the little triangle storage box I bought for the slip 20 years ago (but haven’t used for 10). We’ll have to clean those up soon.

I haven’t been to the office yet but it looks fine on camera. I’ll head over there later today.

I tried to catch up on BBAD but there was too much so I just marked everything read.

At the funeral, a few Americans showed up. Good of them to come so far. One of my cousins is a Trump supporter and his son and daughter-in-law drove up from Connecticut, about 8 hours away. I thought they might be Trumpets, too, but they were as anti-Trump as any two humans I have ever encountered. It turns out his sister (my cousin’s daughter) has transitioned and become a man. They must have interesting family gatherings.

Tons of kids my mother had touched in her years directing a daycare showed up. They’re all 30 and 40 now, but they remembered her. It occurred to me that nobody’s going to show up for my funeral like that. I have led a decent life but I could have done so much better.

Every day at 4pm a little internal alarm goes off for me to call my mother, and then I remember I don’t need to anymore.

Wait until you remember that even though you don’t need to, you want to.

That’s awesome that the grown up kids came out. If I died tomorrow, I wouldn’t be surprised if 500 people came. 35 years from now, I’m not sure anyone would come. I don’t think I’d even have anyone to plan my funeral. We’ll see, though.

I’m glad your home. How many hours did you sleep?

Time for another cat?

I do not have a personal dr. 400,000 of BC 5 million residents don’t have a personal dr. It was a real hassle and took 3 weeks to get my routine medication renewed despite having the original prescription done up over 2 years ago. Eby has managed to recruit over 400 healthcare professionals from America and a private group got some here in BC as well that is good. But the Urgent And Primary Care Clinics that NDP set up none have a blood pressure machine to use.

https://news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2026HLTH0037-000404 10th anniversary of the drug crisis being proclaimed in BC. In 48 hours here in Duncan, BC saw one drug deal for heroin picked up a few needles and other hard drug paraphenalia and a few drug pipes. Across from old North Cowitchan School saw a guy huffing from a drug pipe some hard drugs and girl talking to him this in daylight. Various ppl doing hard drugs on York St between Taco Time and where the rd turns at Esso.

In Ont govt of Ford closing safe consumption site.

Bonnie Henry: Reversal of decriminalization 'disappointing' Dr Bonnie wants meth a h and crack legal to use in parking lots and front yards again. JUST NO NO NO. Fire her already. I was at a BC Lions game at BC Place and despite the spacing rules she imposed during Wuhan she was hugging total strangers at the game. Fire Crazy Pete the HA messenger bitch. Various ppl at the 50 yrd line heard his insults to me and at other games. Never had a problem since the opening of BC Place way back circa 1983 until HA Crazy Pete started his campaign of hate against me. Saw him sucking up to Yocholitz the full patch HA killer and pimp one game. Contacted Ravi Kahlon the minister in charge of BC Place and others but got no response. Guardtek Security was quite rude and insulting to me at the ACDC concert there but Rolling Stones was just fine. Guardtek should be banned from all govt venues. Fire Crazy Pete. Go Lions Go. Roary went out of his way to be nice to me after I sent my email.

B.C. launching new health care regulatory regime I have mentioned my problems with pharmacists and Drs the last few years. The NDP is going to change the way they are regulated.

Forgot to mention elsewhere consistently good service at that Esso on York St and the nearby Mcdonald’s its big parking lot always clean. ONCRE the UN gangster has a couple tags at the Esso as well as in Chilliwack and Surrey and Downtown Vancouver.

My late condolences as I just found at this moment. Great you could visit her at the end. I prayed for her. I met her and your Dad but really have little memory of them. Do remember the Yokoyama parents and Thompson parents quite well. Even Andrew Kotaska’s Dad.

Your posts are so difficult to understand. Are you talking about childhood friends or online buddies you’ve met? I ask because the names sound Japanese, which made me question whether you are talking about people you’ve met online.

Your previous post was way to long and I ended up glossing over it.

Yokayama and Thompson were friends of mine and Reg and Andrew his Dad was a mason who had some interesting stories he was at school with us at Incentive as were the other two.

As for glossing over my own sibling asks me to stay in contact then says he doesn’t read my texts because they are too long. He asks me not to mention crime stuff then when I get into trouble he asks why I did not tell him. I self censor a lot now with that relative. I am well aware some of my posts don’t interest ppl.

It’s not that your posts aren’t interesting. It’s that you vaguely post on 10 subjects in one paragraph.

Others like a sibling of mine and that fat Russian balding Whalley based lawyer I want deported have said the same thing. Guy should be disbarred.

I’m already there.

Why not just use one of the online doctors? You can see them same-day and get your meds instantly.

In fairness, professional enlightenment isn’t free.

Yes while cleaning up my paperwork yesterday found a form for them a Dr. in Hope BC gave me.
