just shut your fatass mouth

Bogota to Toronto sounds long.

That’s so sad for you, Reg. It’s even making me feel a little sorry for you, especially since you are flying back home to much lower temperatures but I know you really want to get there so I don’t pity you much.
On the bright size, technology has advanced somewhat since rotary phones and vintage projectors. You have Zoom now and I know you love technology so that should be enough until you return.

Yes actually it is and really there’s no other way to eat pizza.

So, I was in the Bogotá airport last night. They had changed everything. I had called the hotel to send a taxi as we had 4 suitcases and a couple of backpacks. I usually travel light but we had just packed up a large home and we had a lot of stuff. Anyway, I walked out of the baggage area and the guy I expected to be holding up a sign with my name was nowhere to be found. They weren’t allowed inside anymore. I saw them outside, jammed into a tiny area far smaller than the area inside where they used to stand. I spotted mine and popped outside to wave at him to help with the bags and some vile fat female guard told me I wasn’t allowed back in to get my bags. I pointed out the bags which were 5 meters from us and she threatened me with arrest. Isa had to lug the bags and the cat outside by herself.

On the way to the hotel, the driver had to stop twice to move traffic cones that had been put in place to impede traffic because, well, covid.

Honestly I am sick and tired of stupid covid restrictions that do nothing at all for public health. I don’t mind stuff that works or even stuff that doesn’t work as long as it doesn’t inconvenience anyone. It just seems like we’re way past that now and people are putting restrictions in place that do nothing and just cause as much disruption as possible in order to look like they’re taking action.

Making people wear masks when they’re nowhere near other humans is stupid. Making a 60 something driver get out of the car to move cones 20 times per night is stupid. Making taxi drivers wait in a tiny space outside where they’re far closer together is stupid. It doesn’t prevent the spread of covid. It just makes bureaucrats look like they’re taking action.

A pane is a pane. A stare, a glare, or just a glance it is COVID all the same.

hey reg

You get your mask back on and stop encouraging freedom to breathe.

why did you book a three day layover?

No reply.

No reply. I did wonder the same thing.

No reply.

No reply but why would you choose a dull trip over an entertaining game?

I’m pretty sure football games fall into that category.

Back in Vancouver. I miss Colombia.

Wow. You must be jetlagged.

Oh, Bujesus. Hitler is back and you freeloaders haven’t done anything to clean this place up. Now I don’t clean doors, floors or windows so you can start by cleaning up my dirty words. When Hitler walks in, look busy.

now now, no need to compare people to hitler…
i doubt anyone here can say they are responsible for building so many roads

You’re so right. I never give credit where credit is due. Perhaps I should have called him Pope and credited him with building bridges.

welcome home reg… enjoying the snow? lol

Hope the cat is doing ok.

The cat did great. She only complains during takeoff and landing. She sleeps the rest of the flight.

No snow, thank Buddha. Bloody cold, though, and a weird, dystopian vibe here. No Christmas lights. No feeling of festivity. You wouldn’t even know it was Christmas without checking the calendar.

Great I’ll call you again soon. Improve the channels and portal to send more energy.

Wonder what’s going on.

We just took a Christmas light tour through southern new Hampshire. New England has amazing house light displays.
