I don’t think he was a Nazi. He was a member of the Hitler Youth but so was everyone back then. If you weren’t a member, you weren’t functional in society. I believe he was hoping to die ten years ago. His religion wouldn’t let him. I am so glad that we are moving past that kind of backward thinking in Canada.
