True. I would prefer there would be no mess at all if lethal and legal obtainable meds would be available, for that no family member, neighbour, train conductor, med staff, police etc. have to deal with a messy scene and worse, the clean up.
But in my opinion you lack to understand the mental situation many suiciders face.
And of course, not every family member will be able to understand it. Especially maybe when young. And maybe there is no justification. I only can tell you my reasoning. I donāt mind if someone like you cant understand it. But I donāt want to become like my father, who was demented in the last year. I donāt want to be a burden to anyone. My hope is to leave like my best friend did. Relatively fast. A snip, more or less. But if not and I am old and sick enough, I hope I am able to go on my decision.
