Well it’s all over and you’re standing pretty. What else matters to you?

This week’s POM requires no explanation. Whoever posted it to Pixabay did so anonymously so there’s no photo credit, either.

Yes, it does. What do you see there?

Trump’s America.

It’s okay that we don’t see the same thing here. I don’t mind sharing the truth with you, while you lie to me.
I see a government cleansing.

Michele, tearing things down is not cleansing. USAid wasn’t cleansed, it was closed. The Department of Education is not being cleansed, it’s being closed.

Trump isn’t “tearing things down”. He cleaning things out.

What do you see in the POM, Michele?

I see a lot of smoke and lot of fire in a dilapidated building with a big hole in the center. What do you see?

I already told you what I see. Trump’s America.

Looks just like Captain America Brave New World I recently watched in the theater. What plot twists. Red Hulk was impressive.

Brave New World will always be the Aldous Huxley book to me.

How does the book end, because if they fashioned America around a book, I’d like to know what their plan is.
I know, read the book…

I’ve read enough. like to hear the punchline.

The hero kills himself.

Oh…some hero!

Yes, it was a perfect ending. The whole premise of the book is that the path we are taking leads nowhere. It is one of the greatest books ever written.

What do you mean with nowhere? In a highly controlled world, there might be not many free choices and changes possible. But usually, our behaviour effects every day the life of many other beings. Humans and animals. To me, that‘s not „nowhere“.

The Chinese live already in such a World. Where every information is controlled and one’s decision and behaviour affects one’s social credit score. Even crossing the street during a red light is counted.

Michele does Cliffsnotes if you couldn’t already tell by her quoting and commentary block style posts

Then why did the hero commit sideways?
