Leave it to the Dutch to legalize it without legalizing it.
I hope you don’t believe everything you read because that article is misleading or an out right lie and where government is concerned, it’s probably deliberate.

Before legalization, sellers had no fear of prosecution but anytime stupid government gets involved whatever they say will be law and if sellers break it I’m certain they will be prosecuted.
Sadly this weird “it’s illegal but we don’t prosecute it” nonsense is quite common around the world. Even Canada did it for a few years before legalizing it many years ago. Many US states still do it.
I personally find marijuana disgusting (albeit slightly less so than tobacco). I have tried it a few times in my life and have no plans to ever try it again, although if I ever face pain at the levels I had after my surgeries in 2019, I might. Intense pain changes everything.
I also note that prohibition of marijuana simply doesn’t work anywhere as far as I can see. Given that, it seems silly to waste money and resources on enforcing laws that can’t be enforced.
I am also not a fan of Marijuana. Mostly, because i think it reduces productivity. So does patting my cat, but less so.
Oh, you don’t think government was concerned they would get busted do you? I bet that’s why they legalized and taxed it.
I can’t really speak about other governments but the U.S. government reminds me of the Mafia, except maybe when they use the military to disguise themselves as wholesome global defenders but to me they just look like human traffickers in camouflage.
Marijuana is not for everyone. Some people shouldn’t give up their oil-based chemicals. It’s far too dangerous to stop taking pills once you’ve started. Especially high blood pressure pills.
Indica does have that effect on people. It will put you “indacouch” as they say. I never touch that kind of pot. In fact, petting your cat would be a challenge on indica and geez, what if you had two lol.
Helping to build bridges is now illegal in the Netherlands, if the bridges are in Russia.

You know what I thought was really crazy about that story?….His crimes are in two completely different countries and yet he will serve his sentences concurrently, but in a different country, which is great to me since America won’t have to feed his foul mouth. On the other hand, he would die faster if they served him green bologna from the US.

the public didnt trust the new combo of greens/socialists (glpvda) or the charismatic minister omtzigt with his new party (nsc) enough to make either of them the biggest party the christians (cda) and democrats (d66) lost a lot of voters and the farmers party (bbb, polled as the largest party the past 2 years completely collapsed)
we might indeed get geert the racist (pvv) as prime minister… (even if he has acted more mildly in the last years)
then again if all parties that promised never to rule with wilders will keep their word, he wont be and would even be kept out of government lol
