I’m not convinced that is Russia. It might have been Russia but that’s not yet clear to me. Lots of people are against Ukraine. Thousands protested in Italy on the weekend against Ukraine and it got almost no coverage.

I tend to agree, but to be pro Russian in the hope fewer people have to die in case they won, is nevertheless wrong as well. Many Germans think that. But that‘s jumped way too short. Russia and other countries then will start and increase to use wars and military threats. Beside the good intention, it‘s also very arrogant to decide that the attacked country rather should nihilate itself. And many even expect this for cheap energy and stable economy. They don‘t care at all about the attacked Ukrainians. Those people don‘t deserve either in my opinion.
I wish to see him in Den Hague and rotting behind bars. But for the sake of peace I would be ok with a gun shot too.

The problem with your whole fight-to-the-death argument is that death in fact may come. I do not put it past Putin to nuke Ukraine if he can’t win it. But yes, this is the Ukrainian’s risk to take. If they are willing to risk it, I am of the opinion we should support them. But I absolutely do not support the west going to a full-scale third world war over Ukraine. That could wipe out the planet Earth.
