What kind of dash cam do you have? At least you weren’t in Colombia. I guess you probably wouldn’t have had a car there.
What is wrong with you?
Can’t you plainly see the vw was at a complete stop prior to the other car rear ending him, indicating it was following too closely.
I don’t know how you can determine suspension damage from that view but whatever. Again, the other car may be built that low to the ground. In reality, the only damage to it may be on the hood, grill, radiator and maybe two new headlight assemblies.
The only point I was making was that the airbag never deployed because no part of the engine was moved far enough to reach the airbag sensor.
Why did you say that? I’m not disagreeing with you. A car as nice as his wouldn’t blend well in such a dirty country filled with land mines.
He said the drivers in are awful and I’m not sure how insurance works there.
He said the guy was driving like a maniac. Reg’s car moved forward. It was hit with a considerable amount of speed.
I hit a telephone pole going 10 mph 20 years ago. It’s a sensor. My airbag went off popping the lens out of my glasses. How do you know the airbag didn’t go off?
I agree with that. Sounds like drivers in Mexico and I doubt many carry insurance.
I agree. Weaving through traffic.
I was plowed down by an idiot in a big truck, parked in the middle of the road, conversing with his idiot friends. Without looking, he threw it in reverse and backed over me. From that accident, I learned that my airbag didn’t deploy because nothing was pushed into the sensor.
I said “Hey Google” and then remembered that was not the correct trigger phrase. lol. I then said the correct phrase “Hey Dashcam” followed by “Save Video” which uploads the last 30 seconds to the cloud. If I didn’t say “Hey Dashcam, Save Video”, the video would still be saved on the SD card in the dashcam but it wouldn’t be uploaded to the cloud.
I love the newer ones. I’m just not sure it’s my style. It’s also a foolish purchase in a world that’s going electric. They need to make an electric version.
Any more questions?

A Garmin Dashcam Mini 2. I just installed it two weeks ago, too.

You can’t see it from this view but I saw inside his hood that his left front strut was bent to hell. He definitely had suspension damage.
Do you think if a purely electric car had damage to its battery there could have been an explosion?
I just googled and the general consensus is “It’s possible but unlikely”. I don’t know of any cases of electric cars exploding in accidents.

yes that mostly seems to happen when people are charging their car and on rare occasions spontaneously
when it does happen its pretty bad… those fires are difficult to put out
recently in india its mainly electric scooters
So if I was to charge one in my garage and it blew up and set the house on fire, that would be bad.
I wonder if I’d sue the automaker.
Over two million people are hurt in a traffic accident every year. According to Esurance, your odds of getting involved in a car accident are one crash out of 366 for every 1,000 miles distance driven

Any more questions?
There never was. If you think there was, you should probably review all of the previous posts.
