What does the r before amen mean?

Prayers are concluded with a final declaration of affirmation, “R’amen” (or “rAmen”); the term is a parodic portmanteau of the terms “Amen” and “Ramen”, referring to instant noodles and to the “noodly appendages” of their deity. The celebration of “Pastover” requires consuming large amounts of pasta, and during “Ramendan”, only Ramen noodles are consumed; International Talk Like a Pirate Day is observed as a holiday.

Lol, thanks.

I bet Desmond tutu, after reflecting with Gods Word in his hands, would retract this statement.

“When we opened them we had the Bible and they had the land.”
It’s an in accurate statement since one does not surrender Gods Word upon giving a Bible away. Of course, a new life in Christ might not have clear understanding of that, yet.

Time would teach him:

“When we opened them, we sold all we had and bought the field.”

Matthew 13: 44
2 Corinthians 8: 15

thats correct since the bible is written and edited by many men and not by any gods

reality and time has taught him that all was stolen from his people and they were enslaved working the fields for the christian white men so he decided to become a christian himself and fight this evil from within

The Bible, useful for instruction, correction conviction and training is written by many men, inspired by God, Who called you all gods.

Why? In Christ, the battle has already been won.

You will not need to fight in this battle.
2 Chronicles 20: 17

The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”
Exodus 14:14

interesting, apparently it means to surrender

I think when you put it in context of the entire chapter, understanding the meaning does become clearer.
Psalms 46 is an entire chapter dedicated to assuring us that God is our strength in times of trouble. Verse 10 could also be understood to mean, “Pay attention”, and know that I am God.

In verse 13 it says, “But Moses said to the people”

In Exodus 14, Adonai will fight for you, while you hold your peace.

In verse 15, “Then Adonai said to Moses, “Why are you crying to Me?”

In this context, it does not mean surrender. To “hold our peace” in this context means to demonstrate faith at a time when they were facing a sea of water and nowhere to turn.

thats the fun / trouble with your bible, so many interpretations…

I don’t know about trouble but you could explore the meaning of scriptures and stories until rapture and never run out of material.

when everyone can and will come up with their own interpretations to what are supposedly meant to be “instructions/teachings of their god” of course it leads to a lot of issues, including confusion, anger, insanity, and hate which has led and will continue to lead to many wars as long as delusional people believe in it

Did our discussion cause you to experience those issues?

of course not, but thats only because of that divine intervention that i received making me quiet for 2 hours!

Demonstrating the Power of Gods Word resting on you. It was an awesome experience to me.

ah thats what was resting on me… no wonder i had to go for a number 2

morning in maine in september; i don’t have a pressing need for heaven

Don’t worry. I don’t have a pressing need to push it on you.
