The total number of deaths is irrelevant. The number of deaths per attack and per animal are what count. These violent animals, bred for fighting and nothing else, have no place on earth. I am ok releasing them into nature where they will die out quickly (but naturally). Nurturing them in our cities is insanity.
and there is the real issue⦠stop the humans from breeding and training those innocent animals for fighting and the problem is solved ![]()
And since those humans already did this, and created a violent, huge, extremely dangerous breed of dogs, the kindest thing we can do is neuter them and let that breed naturally die out.
or as i said you could just stop training them to fight and the problem is solved ![]()
I am not against neutering the trainers, too. And perhaps the Dutch.
Lucky it wasnāt uphill. I would turned suddenly.
That was a close call but Reggie needs one closer or just worse possible outcome to change his health.
If it is close, then my health first.
lol@remaining calm
Did he keep the camera in his right hand? Amazing he captured both dogs so well. He was stupid to just ride with one hand on the bike and to film the dogs, even looking back on the other dog - luckily without crashing. Crashing would have been probably even more dangerous than stopping. I rather just would have speeded up and rode as fast as possible. Regardless if those were Pitbulls or German Shepherds or other big dogs. Anyway, I hope that rider called the police and filed a complaint against the dog owner.
He probably didnāt have time to put it down or away. He could have certainly ditched it, if it meant saving his life. There is no question he would have died if he fell. I probably would have ditched it. Maybe the camera and bike is his life.
My favorite part was when he didnāt die.
Yes, crashing/falling down is always dangerous and can end even lethal. But such a situation can be lethal with any big dog breed. A German Shepherd, Rottweiler etc.
The other dog seemed not to have been aggressive, but the one who followed narrowly appeared to be. If he would have touched the bike or the leg, that would certainly have resulted in a crash with a probably very severe injuries if not death. He was also very far away from the owner already, for that he would get no help soon enough. I know the impulse tells to flee in such a situation, but I always would suggest to stop if some big dog is chasing you, regardless if as a jogger or cyclist. Standing calm with no movings and without looking at the dog is what I at least hope I am able to do in such a situation, though. Plus the owner has the chance to regain soon influence on his dog again. And if not, then he can help if the dog really attacks. But the moving was what triggered those dogs to chase the cyclist. If it stops, it might stop also his hunting instinct. And the risks for lethal injuries lowers in case the owner is soon there to help in case the dog(s) make the cyclist/jogger fall.
lolā¦as if a dog is going to stop attacking because a person stands still. When it comes to aggressive dogs, like pits, it doesnāt matter if you stand still or run away, they are going to pursue and attack. IMO, its best to find a weapon and beat hell from them. Even without a weapon, itās better to stand and fight than run. A pit will catch you running, knock you to the ground and eat your face for lunch. The only reason the cyclist survived is because he was capable of peddling faster than the pits could run and keep up but if they had applied more aggression and lunged, the cyclist may not have survived and itās great that he did but I didnāt have a favorite part.
Did you read my post. It seems not.
I read the whole thing but it was lengthy so Iām not sure which part youāre referring to.
Pro my whole post. It appears to me after you read that one sentence you quoted, you blended out everything else I wrote before and after.
You will have to draw me a picture to make your point clearer because I donāt know what youāre talking about.
they most likely will, especially if you show confidence, no aggression and no fear
only reason he āsurvivedā is that the dogs were having fun running along and smart enough not to touch him or his bikeā¦
