sure there is a difference, but if you take on the responsibility to raise a child or a pet then i think you should absolutely also be held accountable for their actions; if you dont want that, then you should not have children or pets or give them up and let others do that

The penalty for murder is not death here. And I think if a person decides to risk the lives of others against their will by owning a pit bull, and that violent and dangerous dog kills innocent people, then the life of the pit bull owner should be ruined, yes. It will not bring the dead person back, but it will serve as a deterrent to other selfish and disgusting people who think it is ok to risk the lives of others for their own vain and insecure desires.

Even if this is true, 20% of dogs account for 70% of human deaths. Pit bulls are vile and dangerous animals who were bred to kill, and they are good at that.

18 million Pit Bulls, often owned by machos and criminals who have a problem with themselves and the world. A type of dog which often gets abused, neglected and even today trained to attack. For this, itâs amazing they only kill that few people.

Honest? This thread started five years ago with me doing a poll on banning pit bulls. I have never been anything but honest about how I feel about pit bulls and their owners. Both are the scum of the Earth as far as Iâm concerned.
You, on the other hand, have gone from âpit bulls are no more dangerous than other dogsâ to âok maybe theyâre dangerous but their owners suck and they have been mistreated and here are lots of reasons why they are more dangerousâ. I do not care why. The reality is that by your own numbers, they are far more dangerous than any other dog. They kill humans. They kill pets. They need to be removed from society.
the reality is that if you look at the numbers then it should not be an important issue to you at all (see my previous post)
so the real question remains: why do you continue (to pretend) to care about this when you could focus on other issues that cause a lot more needless dead people?
The actual issue is, that Reggie doesnât want to solve the real problem (which lies on the other end of the leash) and only goes for the easiest, the most unfair and for him the most satisfying solution. Killing the dogs. And afterwards the next breed on the list is on the focus. The only rational reason to protect both the dogs as well as the potential victims is to set the stakes for breeding higher and to qualify the owner. For ALL pets btw. not just dogs. The suffering of pets and stock is mindblowing. And the punishment for animal cruelty should be way higher.

And again, given the high numbers of Pitbulls in the US (18 millions), plus considering a chunk of their typical type of owners, I am amazed by the vanishing low numbers of fatal killings. The real reason why you are obsessed with Pitbulls as well as other big dogs (which surely would be the next target of yours), is your hatred for those kind of dogs. Otherwise you would apply the same rationality as you do with vehicles.
