This guy just died trying to prove the earth was flat. I’m not sure that would have happened if he was successful in doing whatever it was in his self made rocket. You see him fall to his death but the video is not nearly as bad as the hindenburg.

This is not a loss I choose to mourn. I say that with no hatred. He died doing what he wanted to do, and I doubt he would’ve been happy with his reality had he succeeded in taking his photos and returning safely to the (round) earth.

Was he trying to get up so high in the air that he could take a picture of the earth with his cell phone to prove it was rectangular?

Initially I was trying to figure out how his rocket could prove the earth was rectangular. The only thing i could think of was he would get so high up he would just take a picture of the earth. I moved on to ice cubes.
